- Brodee replies to MR.EDMembers Alliance is a Financial Education Company assisting Qualified homes with retirement. They practically help you minimise debt and give you ideas how to maximise assets for retirement. They aren't evil and they only provids advice.
- David| 2 repliesI have not had calls from this number, but I have had calls from Members Alliance it appears they are now using mobile numbers, we have now had 3 calls, they ring saying there are incentives from the government that you may be eligible for if you meet certain criteria, I mistakenly booked a time with them.
The give you minimal details on the phone as they "are not able to legally give financial advice over the phone".
When the woman "Simone" came in she she was abrupt and asked "what we wanted" we said you came to see us to tell us about the financial incentives we can get from the government, she asked rudely had we looked at the website, we said what website, which was Members Alliance.
She then went on to say quite rudely, that we made this meeting for advice and why did we not look up the website, we told her we were told that she would come and provide all the information, she was rude and spoke to us as if we were idiots.
I told her that she was rude and not to come into my home with attitude and speak to us that way. I should have thrown her out there and then.
DO NOT ACCEPT CALLS FROM MEMBERS ALLIANCE, DO NOT MAKE APPOINTMENTS WITH THEM. DO NOT LET THEM INTO YOUR HOME AS THEY WILL ONLY WASTE YOUR TIME.
I CANNOT SAY WHETHER THEY ARE SCAMMERS OR NOT BUT FOR US IT WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.- Caller: Members Alliance
- Thankful replies to DavidThanks David, just got a call from Members Alliance and said I needed to speak to my wife.
They are ringing back tomorrow when I will tell them to take a hike! - laura replies to RachCompanies like that cant leave a message. Ive worked for telstra etc and even that. You cannot in no circumstances leave a message
- laura replies to DavidThats not quite true. I worked there for a month while inbetween living arrangements.
its a massive 5 level office. Gold coast is head office. Then theres adelaide. Sydney. Perth. Melbourne.
The company uses auto dialers as do all cold calling companies. Yes everyone knows there its intrusive.
What happens is they qualify if your the home owner. Morgaging or renting. Its not just the home owner.
all i did was qualify.
the questions are very broad. Never specifics.
Eg minimum criteria is 110 k ownership in property do you meet this criteria?
Same for single or combined income single 60k combined 70k do u earn excess of this or below.
Because i for example respected privacy. And i dont even take these kinds of calls.
Members alliance complies with the do not call register and they are registered with asic. They are very legitimate. But you need to be irate to be taken off the list. Which takes a day or two to take effect. Just put yourself onto the do not call register. Then u wont get cals from anyone. If you hang up or say your not interested and hang up. We put thag your not interested and youll keep getting filtered thru until your either interested or you say something that doesnt qualify u. And thats not their choice. Thats the system. Its automatic.
Thats why we ask at the beginning the calls only for those in the work force and under 60 is this you?
Then we state the purpose of the call.
Anyway hope that gave peoplee an insight - jeff.gaitskell replies to Carlosmembers alliance are a hard sell, rip off scamming company,,,STAY AWAY
