They rang again and said they were from Telstra and they wanted to discuss with my husband about my phone plan.  It must be a call centre number. Im surprised its not a withheld number being a call centre number.
When I rang back it just rang out.

This caller has been persistently phoning for days and getting answering machine. Don't they get the hint? Any unwanted call is an invasion of private time.

Damn it! Well, I have joined the club, it started yesterday afternoon, and by the sounds of it, will not end for a while.

I'm in Brisbane too and have had 2 calls today and 1 call yesterday from there.

The reason that the number is showing up is because of the 'do not call register'.

Now any call centre or marketing/promotions company that cold calls has to show a phone number, they're not allowed to withhold the number anymore.

And if you call back, you more than likely will get a busy tone, a 'cannot connect' message, or a recorded message telling you who the firm was that called.

have had over 16 missed calls on our mobile since the start of the month. have no ideA HOW TO MAKE THEM STOP.. does anyone???

They are a call centre & it seems like they work for a number of companies and charities. All above board. You can register on the Do Not Call register if you don't want to be called or if you buy tickets in any of the Prize Home lotteries and don't want to receive calls anymore tell the charities directly that you want to be excluded from telemarketing.

I received, a missed call, on my mobile from 07-5668-0854, to-day the 9th of May.I called back, the number was ringing, however, no one answered.I would,like to know who called me?

I have had 8 calls from this number to day thay didnt anser on any all call my phone comp and was given this number 1300775888 and yes thay do own the phone number 0756680854 and was told it shoulnt be happening but it is he had no fix so far so call them and complain it just might get them to FIX there Systerm. same number called, a woman saying she was with some marketing company, asking for someone who wasnt available, i asked her "was was this sorry?" and she just hung up. tried calling back, but it just kept ringing.
