Very bizarre. I'm with 3 network.

Received the  same text and a series of missed calls from the number - what a weird person, I would advise do not reply and block the number asap.

I got this message too, to my work phone which is on Vodafone. Thought it was a bit odd, glad I know it's spam now after reading all these comments. What sort of scam is it then?

my boyfriend got this msg, he deleted it and reported it to vodafone. we think its a way of someone hacing your phone if u ring or text it back. he has an iphone and uses it to access our internet banking when out and about so best lay off that for a while. i just dailled the number 07599615565 on my old pay and go phone with my number as private and i got "welcome to the o2 messaging service" im sort of glad other people have experienced this coz we honnestly thought we were being targeted for id fraud or something!!

This number just called me and text me, same old Autism story. I'm with T Mobile. Gotta love the internet!

I have just had this message. My boyfriend told me not to reply incase it may be a scam.

Funny thing is that my boyfriend actually does suffer from Asperger Syndrome. I think it is terrible that if this is a scam that they are using an illness to gain money out of people.

I will be reporting this text. I am on Vodafone, (East Midlands, UK), and only had my HTC for two weeks, I don't even have this number on Facebook....

i thought it was one of my friends taking the piss… how weird i dont like it tho seeing as i have a BRAND new phone number an then get this

I am on Vodafane as well.

Though I think this guy is legit because I have fount a blog that he wrote asking for friends, and also a Leicester classifieds add trying to also get friends

Very odd - decided not to reply obviously, as was concerned it was a scam. This is a new Vodafone contract for a iphone, and i'm really careful about giving out my number so I have no idea how he got it. My boyfriend works for Carphone Warehouse and tells me that the chances of just guessing a correct mobile number are slim. But from the sounds of it that is what this guy is doing.

Will ask Vodafone to block him, but am now wondering whether this is something that could be reported to his mobile provider? Or possibly his careworker?!

Same message as above received will block number confused by this and according to this it has been happening a lot.  A bit freaky concerned about calls as I have small children in my home

Just received the same message, vodafone.
The number came in as +447599615565 searching for that didn't find anything initially.

I'm on vodafone and i have also got the same text message as above, i was very concernd about the text message so i have called and reported it to the police to get an incident number so vodafone would block the number from my mobile.

The police told me to look on here as they have also found this cause for concern. I'm not sure what may come of this but lets all hope they take the phone off this sick person.

My advice would be to report the number and text to the police general enquires line to put a stop to this, If he is guessing numbers it only takes one young or vulnerable person to be targeted by this man "jonathon" to possible cause harm to someone.

I also got this text at 12.15am on Monday 31st Jan, 2011. It woke me up and totally freaked me out. There are so many postings about this, I really think this is odd. Can it really be 1 person guessing numbers? I was glad to know others had received it though and I wasn't the only one to receive this freaky message...
