Me and my girlfriend used this company about four months ago regarding claiming back ppi, they couldnt get anywhere with his so refunded his 150, but were able to claim mine and I got over three grand. They are worth it, but as with all companies they have their good bits as well as bad.

i was called by this company 4weeks ago they told me i could reclaim my ppi on my halifax loan. i was sceptical so did give them a bank card with no money on for the 150 and only put the 150 in on the date i specified it was taken 5days ago on time and ive been told my claims going forward when ive called in. im not fooled by anything these days but the company is registered with ministry of justice so ive taken the chance lets see what happens.

This Company attempts to claim back PPI on finance and loans for purley just sending complaint templates from there admin team at minimul cost of a stamp. They send another template if the 1st is rejected which normally is. After that if no success send the complaint to the Financial Ombudsman. His decision is final - if at this stage the claim back has failed due to non miss-selling of the policy, the 150.00 you have paid for next to nothing is non refundable. They boast a 93% success rate but you will here different each time you ask, and say that the 150.00 covers the initial admin costs and to run the documents past their solicietors however, this is bull and any one can do this themselves. its just profit and is fluffed up plus if they do win any case they take 37.9% inc the VAT at the end. they have a sister Company too. Baines and Ernst, used to be a dept recovery Company and now apparently a dept consolidation Company -so if you fall into there hands owing them monies, guess who will be calling you! be VERY careful.

I have just got off the phone to these nuggets. They make it sound very attractive, saying I could definitely claim back just ov er '£2400'. He then put me through to his 'manager' who waffled on for ages about awful these banks are for mis-selling you PPI. Then he went on to mantion they needed £150 up front admin fee, and to start the claim, and a valid debit card number. When I refused he got pushy, so I asked him some questions...1) Does your company issue the cheque for the refunded PPI? "Yes" was his answer. 2) Then why can't you claim your fees from that money before you issue the cheque? "It doesn't work like that, mate"...so I told him there was no way in hell I would hand over my debit card details. He went on to say "So you're bank has ripped you off by £2400?"...I said "Yes, my bank manager can go on holiday with it!' and hung up.

This is a scam, a legit claims company would take their admin fees from moneys reclaimed. Don't fall for it.

If you gave your card details to these people, you have lost £150 unless you cancel the card. Whatever the results. It's a scam, but a clever one, they aren't breaking any laws, or even telling lies, it's all in the wording. They say the fee is refundable if there is no valid claim, which doesn't mean no win no fee, it means if there is no insurance they refund the money, if there is insurance, the money is gone and they ain't refunding you anything, whether they win or not. 93% success rate is clever to, they have prob only done about 10 or so cherry picked cases, all there profit is from the admin fees, and the cases take so long  (6-12mths in reality) they will have shut up shop and gone off with the loot long before you ever see a penny back. HOW STUPID ARE YOU PEOPLE! THE WEBSITE LOOKS LIKE IT WAS MADE IN 10MINS!!!  SOMEONE PHONES YOU OUT OF THE BLUE, AND YOU GIVE THEM YOUR BANK DETAILS!!!!!!!! You [***] deserve to get fleeced for being so dumb and falling for the oldest trick in the book.

this company seemed very genuine at first but then asked me for 150 pounds on
a debit card wich made me feel uncomfortable as i am already struggling to pay my loan as it is without this company saying they want to help me but also want my money

similar experiences as the rest, same process, seemed legit, very very pushy - almost to the stage were you just feel like telling them to slow the hell down a minute and take a breath! They talk so fast to try and make you forget any questions you just thought off. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I gave Debit card details over the phone, recieved the pack, then thought about it and decided i wasnt going to go ahead, was tricked basically into handing card details over, i have now had to cancel my debit card so they cant try and take money.
they wanted £150 up front admin fees, then i was told i could receive around £2000 back on a claim altho they would take from 33 to 45% of the winnings, i told them who my loan was with yet on the pack they had a different company ive never even had a loan with?? thats what made me think twice. I first rang them to try and cancel the claim and a guy called Craig Leech or something openly refused to do it, his exact words were "What is your reason for claiming" i said i have many reasons. he said well i cant cancel it without a good one. I said WILL cancel it wether i give a reason or not, he said "No i wont" and hung up. i was shocked! I rang back spoke to a craig who said he would cancel it for me and that Chris must have made a mistake somewhere (lol complete a$$hole) wether Chris actually cancelled or not i dont know but i took no chances and as ive said i cancelled my debit card so they cant take any money at all and the bank will be monitoring the account to see if they do try or not and will let me know.

In total within 2 weeks they called me 26 times with 7 text messages.

they called me out of the blue, l didnt give them any debit card details as l thought it was strange to ask over the phone it seemed really fishy, l just explained to them that they could be anyone scamming people for their bank details, then when l spoke to the manager he said he would let me pay it later when l won my case, the pack was eventually sent out to me.
the amount that they would claim back for me and the percentage that they would  get l think seems a bit excessive.
I think l might have a go at claiming it back for myself through the templates, lm just glad l didnt give bank details, they do sound very convincing !!

So far a good service I know they seem to be high charges however I looked at it this way 100% of nothing or 63.5% of what I had paid out so I also took a gamble and instructed claims group direct. I have received confirmation that my appeal has been upheld and should be paid monies back to me hopefully within 28 days I do not have an exact figure once I am paid claims direct will invoice me for any money due. I will update once I have received my money back and then claims direct's invoice. The way I see it you are receiving a service and therefore I would expect to pay for that service at the mo I have no complaints I hope it stays that way!

I used to work for the claims advisory group who offered this service of reclaiming mis-sold PPI.  It is a very legitimate venture and unless you have arrears on any loans that are active, no win no fee does what it says on the tin.  However as someone stated above the insurance can be reclaimed by the financial ombudsman service free of charge.. Problem is you only get one chance to claim so its a personal decision whether or not to use a claims service who are very successful or taking the low cost risk of doing int yourself.  I would recommend shopping around for varying offers from services, maybe have a chat with citizens advice, and the forms for reclaiming PPI are clearly highlighted on the ombudsman website.

Called me as well replies to sam
Now that so many free PPI claims tools exist such as http://www.which.co.uk/campaigns/personal-fin ... ign/claim-back/ and ex-PPI sellers will be contacting mis-sold PPI victims to compensate them direct the bottom is about to drop out of the PPI claims market. This may mean that they will stop calling soon. Their accounts are also overdue, so they may be changing name again, or the company may simply be struck-off, as many of the director's previous companies have been. Their current details are:
