this is courtesy calls from yorkshire and clydesdale bank looking to ask you how good they have been

Yorkshire banks claim department.

Spoke to nice young lady from Clydesdale who assured me it would not have been them calling.  She thought it was a phishing scam & tried to put me through to their Fraud Dept but they were taking too long to answer.

Answered to here a short burst of music/noise,then deadly silence.Oddly enough waiting for a request call back from Clydesdale/Yorkshire Bank.  Bit of an odd way of getting new customers if its them.

I have no idea who this is calling me.

i too have been recieving calls from this number and am NOT a customer of that bank .
when i pick up the line goes quiet for a few seconds then an outgoing dialling tone is heard as if i am calling them ! the line then often sounds as if it goes dead but to be honest as no one has ever left me a message saying who they are or what they want i now just ignore it .

Had a couple of calls from this number today with same experience as others, either just immediate hangup tone or a second of chatter as if from a call centre and then the tone. Had been talking to Clydesdale bank earlier in the day.

Received a phone a call from customer services, not happy that they are asking for personal details from me when I have no proof of who they are so I refused to answer over the phone.

No answer when I picked up the phone and line went dead after a few seconds. Called back (well it was free) and heard recording confirming that it was a Clydesdale & Yorkshire Bank courtesy call. I had been in contact with them yesterday so seems legitimate.

Keep get calls from this no saying Clydesdale bank take details for opening savings account good rates to do on phone  I am not customer don't know where got my no or why they phone me just hung up don't give details on phone

I agree with Mags, they called me but would not tell me why until I had given my full address, inc postcode and date of birth.
I was in a public area and so refused. I suggested they tell me half and I could finish off the other half but they wouldn't do this and could not tell me why they were ringing.

This is Yorkshire/Clydesdale Bank service centre number. They called me after I made an online enquiry.

Definitely a legitimate number for Yorkshire and Clydesdale banks. They called me after I made an enquiry about transferring my bank account. No concerns.

I completed a Mortgage - Decision in Principle form online.  My guess is they were ringing me about this.  The phone range, I answered it, the line was quiet, they then hung up.

No informaton was given about call, all he was expecting full details of my personnel.

I had a call from this number phoning about my Clydesdale repayment mortgage. I said yes the caller (an English guy) said he had to ask some security questions. He then asked my postcode and date of birth. I gave both but decided not to give more. He said that was ok and they were phoning to ask whether I expected to pay the mortgage ok and they were required to check by the government. As everything was ok. That was it. I became suspicious and phoned Clydesdale who said it was nothing to do with them. I phoned Action Fraud who said they would probably try and contact me again to get more information. It's the modern version of courier fraud. I am now on the lookout.

few calls missed on this number ,, i am waiting PPI  claim regards clydesdale bank,, but company who are dealing with my claim said dont speak to them we do all that , how did they even get my home and personal number??
