Totally legitimate callback from Clydesdale/Yorkshire bank after I rang them and was offered the callback instead of waiting in a queue.

I was called by this number on my mobile phone and when I answered the line went dead.  I was then called again on my land line by the same number.  Again when I answered the line went dead.

Yorkshire Bank about a claim I had against them.  Looking at the other comments it was the Clydesdale (joint name) and a PPI claim.

It's a phishing scam...  block them if you can!

Claim to be from Yorkshire Bank wanting to check everything ok with my business account (which I don't have!), man called Ben with a Scottish accent but its not the YB number-  they're obviously up to no good,  hang up and block them!

Did they ask you to provide any personal details?

Press the virgin online help services dues to not receiving the authentication code after several attempts( by the way its happened before and had to wait nearly an hour) An Indian lady phone back claiming to be situated in Glasgow and after there "security questions" she disappeared for several minutes only to inform me I don't have Internet banking. She instructed me to log on(Eh?) I informed her I don't think you're what you're claiming to be. I hanged up... Anyway I've got time to write this, BECAUSE I'M WAITING IN A BLEEDING QUEUE FOR THE LAST 40 MINUTES TO SPEAK TO A VIRGIN OPERATOR.... STILL WAITING...... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarggghhh!!!
