Got a call today saying they were AA home insurance, tried to sell me boiler breakdown insurance.

did a quote check for lessons the day before yesterday... must be them calling. Wish they'd have the decency to leave it alone - it was only a quote I wanted, if I had decided to go with the AA I would have called them!

It is the AA I requested some information on Driving Instructing, and they left a message to let me know that they have sent the required info and if I had any questions to give them a ring, they couldn't have been any nicer!

It's the AA - no matter which AA Group Company you call this is the number that is displayed if they call you. If you call it back you'll just be advised that you missed a call from the AA and they will be in touch again shortly. Only time you would get charged for the call is if you phone contract charges you for calling 0800 numbers which they would advise you before you call!

08000855340 called my 12yr old mobile today definate cold call we have made no enquiries regarding AA insurance driving lessons etc called 3 times missed calls left a message saying they would call back in 15 mins I  called back the number from my landline the automated message states we attempted to contact you today unfortunately we werre not successful we will call again in the near future  such a nuisance if I could talk to them I would tell them he is 12 why would he want insurance or driving lessons
don't recall from a mobile they caarge you on top of your normal tarif.

There is no A in definitely.

It's the AA, trying to find out why their attempt to 'automatically' renew service with them, by plundering your credit card detail from last year has failed.

I'm certain there is a law against companies keeping card details, the AA must be one of those that is exempt as they are an honest business, totally relying of course on the same ethics that made them a household name for decades, before they were bought out by the present bunch.

This number is definitely an AA call centre. My daughter phoned a number to get in touch about some driving lessons, just enquiring about price and availability.  She received a call back from the above number from a jumped up salesman type who wanted a credit card number (she doesn't have one!) and to sign her up on the spot with no regard to her original query!!
She said she was only enquiring and comparing prices whereupon she was asked why she needed to do that and to know what she wanted BEFORE ringing them before he hanged up.
If this is how the AA treat potential new customers, they certainly won't be getting MY business any time soon!!

Have been receiving calls from this number 5-6 times a day for the past 2 weeks, when I answer they either hang up or ask for the names of people I don't know, I have asked them around 20 times to remove my number from their list but still receiving the calls.  Had one a few minutes ago and asked to speak to the Director as I am going to take legal action for harassment but the pleasant sounding gentleman hung up on me.
