Legitimate debt collecting company, collects on behalf of banks or utility companies. If you are getting a call from them either you have a large debt that might have been put to one side at some point or someone is using your phone/home details when creating accounts with partnered companies.

Got a message on my home phone number for a relative to call them back asking for Cherry , the relative has not lived at this address for over 5 years !!!!! Could not make out the name of the company as the person who left message had very strong accent.

One's best response, is no response.
Many of those who work as Debt Collectors are not polite because they are not Boy Scouts and/or Girl Guides.  They are mainly a downtrodden lot, and their ranks include ex-convicts, drug addicts, 20-somethings without high-school diplomas and a variety of other hard-luck cases.
Oh, my gawd, they are like thugs.  However, the more clean-cut types simply can’t get the job done.  So don't expect that debt collector, who is calling you, to be nice!!!

Just got this tex message today 27/4/2018 at 446pm it says please call Chris  from Robinson way on 08001216903 as soon as possible thank you so this is what I did I blocked it because it is a scam don’t ring this number please do what I did and block it

Don't waste your time or energy calling back. A disreputable debt collection agency
