- JanI had these idiots phone me five times in one weekend when I was screening calls becaue of illness, leaving no message but ringing off every time the answerphone clicked on , including at 10.30am and 2pm on Sunday.
By the last call, I had found out from this site who they were , which they confirmed when I snatched up the phone and berated them - a "courtesy call" on behalf of Lloyds Bank. What effing idiot thinks that disturbing people with these unwanted calls is a "courtesy", particulalrly calling on a Sunday morning? I certainly did not give my unlisted number to Lloyds so that I could be pestered and annoyed with unwanted calls from their researchers.
To infuriate me even more, when I looked up making a complaint to Lloyds on their site, the only way of doing it was to leave my phone number so someone could call me to discuss it.- Call type: Survey
- TorquebackSome moron called from this number just now. I said "Hello". A five seconds wait, then a man said "Hello?". Then he hung up. Whoever pays these people is a bigger plonker than they are.

- Carol BHad a phone call from this number and they knew my name. They said they were doing a survey on behalf of my Building Society (naming it correctly) and that I had been into the branch with some queries during the week. They refused to speak to my husband saying I was the account holder. I told them that I had not been into the branch and they said that the information they held was obviouly wrong and then they rang off. This is obviously a scam of some sort.
- FidKeep getting calls from this company. Haven't answered at all until just now after they tried to call me 5 times in one day (Saturday!).
They knew my name an just asked to speak to me. I said that my number wasn't me and that they have the wrong info and the caller hung up.
My dad has terminal cancer and could die any day, so naturally when I'm not with him I'm looking at my phone for any caller. Is really pi**ing me off when I see 5 missed calls from these morons as I naturally assume it might be someone trying to contact me about my father. Luckily I read here after receiving the calls a few days ago.- Call type: Telemarketer
- jSaid that were calling from the bank for research purposes. Explained we are registered with TPS and to remove our number from their database. Very persistent, wanted to confirm if I was the person they wanted to speak to!! - told them if bank wished to speak to anybody in this household they would ring directly themselves.
- TinkerbellGot a call from this number despite being ex directory. asked for my partner by name, saying they were from natwest and making a couple of enquiries about why i was in the leeds branch last week, which i neither of us were. keep getting them
- Caller: natwest

- malstarted with emails about three weeks ago saying they are doing a customer survey for my bank, thought it suspicious and deleted the mail, still get them and still deleting now they are phoning on my mobile where they got my mobile number from I do not know as I always use home phone. The emails had my correct bank which makes me wonder????? normal phishing mails usually guess a bank name. Its time some International body traced these calls and made some arrests as not all are as astute as myself particularly the elderly.

- Mrs TI also had a call from this number claiming to be something to do with the bank... Why would 'the bank' call at 9pm on a Friday night and not say which bank they are from? Very suspect. After reading the above posts I am glad I hung up.
- Chrissie replies to tomboYes this happened to me but what spooked me was the fact that that knew that I had been to the bank within the past week . They asked about the member if staff that served me and asked me to rate them....at this point I said this does not sound genuine because I'm sure that my bank would not phone me at 8.50 in the evening, then I terminated the conversation.

- JohnNOT A SCAM
Received a call and did the survey with them, asked for a number to call to check it was a real company, they gave me the Lloyds Telephone banking number called it and asked about the survey they said it was genuine and is used to grade the customer service of branch staff members to maintain standards high. They also said that Lloyds Banking Group requests that they don't disclose the name of the bank and its not just them being evasive, you should do the survey otherwise how can you expect branch service to get better.- Caller: Network Research

- JamesI received 3 calls over the past two days from this number at very obscure times. The English lady on the phone sounded very professional in tone requesting confirmation of bank and credit card info. After indicating that I was not the person they were after they proceeded to request when the person they were after was in, at which I replied I was unsure.
Speaking to my bank to query this, they confirmed that they would always confirm who they were and would provide a call back number if not comfortable with providing details. Something that the English lady refused to provide due to "data protection" laws.
This clearly is a scam and should be avoided.
However I'm very interested to find out how this organization got hold of this info in the first place, as gaps like this should be investigated & closed. - PeterHad a call from 10800128015 today 10/10/1013. The caller said they were calling on behalf of my bank. Which bank I asked. They said they did not give out that information. I promptly put the phone down. Too many scams going around.

- PJUnidentified caller rang to speak to partner regarding his recent query at local bank (couldn't pronounce town correctly). When partner explained not been into this branch or spoken to any of their representatives within the past 3 months, the caller made their apologies and hung up. From reading other posts would suspect cold calling re PPIs???
