I did do some research, and the office in Antwerp does at least exist, at least the building. before considering this.

I will do some more checking, and see about getting my money back, if they can provide the promised independent valuation, then that provides a bit more confidence.

I've lost money with this lot . The solicitors they use to give them some credibility have subsequently been struck off. Have nothing to do with these or Hamilton Groves who also contacted me. When they've finished ripping you off in one name, they contact you in another name. They should all go to prison for life.

I work for Victim Support which is a national charity for exactly what the title suggests victims of crime......I am currently assisting a gentleman who as been conned out of £45,000......I think that says it all!!!

Hiya,
I have been trying to get in touch with this company all morning as my dad wants to sell his diamonds.
Can anyone help us?  The website is not available and the messages are going to answer machine.
Just read through the posts and I feel slightly concerned.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I'm writing from overseas.  I recently discovered that my 81 year old mother was scammed out of a lot of money by Henderson and Forbes who talked her into buying colored diamonds.

To add insult to injury (and this is how I found out) even though Henderson and Forbes has been in liquidation they or their associates are now sending her 'diamond storage' bills, from a company called Galil Yarden, supposedly in Switzerland: WWW.GALILYARDEN.COM

A webhost lookup search reveals of course that they are not in Switzerland at all. The website is hosted by "012 smile communications" based in Tikah, Israel and the Galil website is registered to a one "Ron Shaham." If you search the email ronsh74@gmail.com the only other thing that it seems  tied to is a pornography site.

These people have no shame.. We filed a fraud report but the police were of no use.

I was conned by Hamilton & Groves ughhhh!  My diamonds are with Galil Yarden. Find out where your Dad's diamonds are stored and contact them.  Mine are worth a third of what I paid

Looks like I have also been scammed.My diamond is also supposed to be stored with Galil Garden in Geneva.My storage is due to run out in October therefore I want to sell.I was told if I wanted to have it sent back to UK I would have to pay duty.Anyone got any ideas what I should do next to get some money back?

I have also been chased for storage costs, but with an extra valuation of the diamonds I thought had been purchased on my behalf, I could get them back. How doI know what was paid for them if they do indeed exist. Is there away all victims could progress this issue if it is fraud I am not sure who to believe these days, as checking the internet can not even be trusted ! I am at a loss and have lost a signiicant amount

Alledgedly London Police are dealing with this, involving a scam company called Worldwide investments that conned people out of thousands  that were for coloured diamonds and then stored at Galilyarden. The trail with the police has gone cold and I have tried to contact them for assurances; still waiting. In the meantime I have noticed that all website contacts for GalilYarden are not responding. I smell a rat!

Be careful, I paid for the valuation and a years further storage and now can't even contact them. I've been asking for weeks about the location and hours of opening in Geneva with no reply. Tread carefully and would not recommend spending any further money!

Galilyarden sent me a bill for storage when ignored it they sent me forms to sign to ether pay for storage are sign the diamond over as settlement for storage of diamond so I signed diamond over and guess what I get a letter from straetus incasso debt collectors for £685.42 acting on behalf of Galil Yarden these people are sick and twisted?

Keith I'm guessing the letter was from the UK and was to be paid into Santander account?hope you contacted met police

I have just received a letter from Straetus on 17th March with 5 days to pay it or action will be taken. Have you paid or had action taken yet ? I have been misled by Galil Yarden on what they were doing and that they were working with the police. Thanks Peter
