Had calls on my mobile from this number 3 evenings this week. Won't answer the phone and have now blocked the number.

Phoning my granddaughter in school today
pain in the rear.

NOT Virgin Media.. more likely Indian call scammers faking it.  Beware

This is a Virgin marketing call centre in India, they are told to push you for a sale, if you are an existing customer they should only ask you for your address as security, nothing else, make sure if you agree to any contracts you have all costs given to you i.e setup fees as well as the monthly cost and get the term of the contract i.e 12/24 months contract, don't let them bully you, as you need to remember your doing them a favour signing up with them

Yes they can be rude if they think your not going to buy from them.... Virgin really need to sort there customer service team out!

Received a call on my mobile tonight supposedly from Virgin Media offering to improve my V M package.  Needless to say I didn't further the conversation advising the female caller, who had an Asian accent, that I don't do anything over the 'phone.
Maybe authentic, maybe a scam, either way the call was an uninvited intrusion into my privacy.

Say they are virgin media , I recently rang virgin myself,  who told me they couldn't improve my contract. These callers are v persistent though, I told them to stop calling me.

I got a call from this number x 2

Called me trying to sell me something that I have already purchased from virgin few days before. On revealing that I have already purchased it,they have then changed to say they want to offer a better deal. They kept asking me to confirm my security details for data protection. I suggested them to post it to my address and they started to ask for my address which should have been on my account .At this point, I was suspicious and ended the call.
