08001836403 called me today at 18.00

Called my mobile at 12:12, 14:38, and 16:34 on Friday.  Each time no one was there.  I have now blocked the number.

The automatic system must by dialling numbers too quickly, resulting in no one being there when I answered.  Definitely a sign of scammers.

I do have TV, broadband, a landline I don't use, and mobile from Virgin Media, but if I want any discount I call them myself and ask.  Too many scammers trying to get personal information.

As far as I know VM don't call customers and offer discounts, you need to call them.

This number has called us several times today-in a very difficult to understand accent, wanted our details, we were extremely apprehensive about giving them any information and will be contacting Virgin in the morning.

Am sick to death of this caller. Not only are they chasing me on my mobile, they have now managed to obtain my unlisted land line. I already have a virgin contract that suits me.

Same number calls constantly averages one or two calls a day..... anyone got Bransons  number ?? Would like to provide these guys with it so they could call him instead😡😡

It's just a marketing call from Virgin. Don't know why people are saying it's a scam.

Constantly calling. Claims to be VM mobile phone deals. Told them I'm in contract and not to call back. They still call. Arrrrrrrghhhhh.

This is totally daily harassment that has been going on for weeks twice a day

I have at least one call a day and never answer. This has been going on for some weeks

Keep getting this phone call from virgin everyday  could you put a block on it

This is most definitely a scam, They hung up on me once I told them I was a VM engineer.

This number repeatedly calls me. As I don't recognise the number I just don't answer

Am just going to call them as I have a virgin account!

Virgin Media's Indian Call Centre, wanting to tell me about a marvelous upgrade, I said really what's that them, then she started on about mobile! told her oh not again how many times do I have to tell you I don't  want a mobile phone from Virgin as you use the companies network that I'm already with! She then went oh, and I cut the call off can't block it as they call on home phone! But will be writing to Virgin Media as sick of these calls as well as at least every month of receiving the phone information in the post!

Once again Virgin Media are calling me two calls from this number and one from 08004089340 today as well! Can't seem to get it into their thick heads that I'm not going with the middle man to use the network I'm already on! Can't believe how many calls I've had this week from them about mobile phones sick off it, now going to write to head office as had enough! Bad enough that at least once a month they send me stuff in the post about mobile phones!

I had a call to my mobile tonight from this number, I let it go to voice mail, sounds like a very noisy call center. As they chose not to leave any sensible message, I've now blocked the number.

This number called my child who is still at secondary school in an attempt to get her to upgrade. 1/ the number is in my name and account and 2/ virgin in India should not be trying to have a sales conversation with a child. If this happens again I will make a formal complaint to the ombudsman and I will be writing to Virgin to advise them. The number is now blocked and I have taught my child how to do this and advised on dirty sales tactics and the dangers of unsolicited calls. I thought cold calls were now illegal but obviously not.

Don't recognise the number, Ignore it ! No worries ! They'll give up eventually. 😏
