They called me to say that my set top box will be disconnected as it's out of date (I swear it's only 2-3 years old) and they will send out a new one free of charge.  Then could I confirm my address?
Yeah right.  I said could they call back later but the Indian sounding voice said if I don't deal with it now it won't be free.
Load of rubbish, I didn't trust them.  They purported to be from Virgin but I doubt it was.

Silent cold call if Virginmedia we have opted out from any sales calls.  Going to check account right now!

Claimed to be Virgin Media offering me better services, I am already on the Ultimate Bundle - so nothing better can be offered, when I asked this question they hung up.  This is one of the Asian contact centres, and lack any customer service.
