- A Nobbs| 1 replyMy mother who has dementia and is in her eighties has been caught by these despicable people since 2011 unbeknown to me till now. How can these people be aloud to prey on the old and vulnerable ???? Disgusting!!!
- Caller: Value savers
- Nan replies to A NobbsIf you haven't already done so, write a recorded delivery letter to them setting out your mother's mental state. Tell them you want all the money she has paid them returned within 14 days and that, if they do not do so you will take them to the Small Claims Court. Tell them you are also reporting them to Trading Standards and Action Fraud. There is no excuse possible for preying on someone with dementia.
- Kresh replies to BIMPEI have never authorised any payment to Value Saver and yet £6.95 had been debited from my Vanquis credit card each month. Despite numerous complaint to both Granite and the so-called value saver, and todate, that amount is still being debited from my account.
WARNING
THIS IS A BIG CON BY GRANITE/VANQUIS itself.
DO NOT FALL FOR IT> - Marty replies to MacDespite numerous complaints to Granite, £6.95 is still being taken from my account evey month.
It's a big con, and Granite is responsible for this SCAM.
I am in the process of taking county court proceedings against them
CANCEL YOUR CARD TODAY, as I am doing, that will teach them a lesson - sylvian£6.95 was taken from my account in Granite Credit Card in November 2012, and despite numerous compalaints that I have never authorised such payment, £41.70 has been taken so far.
When I called Granite to ask for my account to be closed, they told me that it will take 2 months to close the account, which means a further £13.90 will be debited.
What a big con ! - Boo dogI too did this, I signed up willingly. Got the brochure through, but never used it. However I contacted them, explained I had never used it, or had need too and they refunded the last two payments.
Very polite staff, very apologetic, I used the number 08004083990 that appeared on my card payments, and got through straight away.
Essentially the company is a scam, the offers are no better than any you can get yourself by looking around. But because they are monitored and justifiably labelled as a scam operation, they do have very good customer service, and they keep to their promises in respect of refunds.- Caller: Value Saver

- Mr HarrisCall this number 01429 243248 and press 0, to speak to operator (backdoor) then give them your details and complain that you never had any info sent from the call that was placed to sign up for the 30 day trial. They argue that we are meant to let them know if the info pack hasn't come through, I said how there is no info at all to let me do this, Payment cancelled and reimbursed for 5 months payments.

- AdamThe proper number for valuesaver is 01429 243 248 the bad un's stung me too and i have never had anything off them. closed my account with vanquis with barclycard now.
- davegot a call saying they were with vanquish and it was some kind of insurance if I was out of work. I was very reluctant, the guy said as long as I paid off the amount in full I would not be charged. seen 6.95 on my account now three times. rang Vanquis, they couldn't help me, but gave me the 01429 243 248 number, which is conveniently not working. Going to try again on Monday, then report to trading standards and complain to vanquis. May end up cancelling my card. Not happy. Imagine how much these scammers target the elderly and frail. Feel like going down their offices with a bat !!!

- Sparks wifeI have just discovered a transaction of £6.95 from 'Valuesaver stafford' for Feb, March & April that i did not sign up for & have never heard of them, i called my credit card 'vanquis' Customer service only to be told i have to call value saver to stop it, the woman at vanquis customer service did admit that they are part of Value Saver !! & I must have signed up for it. I advised i rarely use my card so would not have agreed to a regular payment going through, she said she will have to get the complaints department to listen to my call, when i asked her what date i spoke to them she said she didn't know!!!. The complaints dept will have to track down the call!!. When i asked her to stop the payments she told me to call Value saver, i explained the tel no on the statement was invalid so she gave me another no (01429 243 248) but as its a bank holiday i now have to wait until tomorrow. I cant get a replacement card sent as they have nit changed my address when i moved 8 months ago despite me writing to them! Now i have to send in proof of my new address. I will update this when i receive a call from the complaints dept

- Mr E. OdusonThe owner of the number (08004083990 and 08003896960) is a criminal who is stealing money from people's credit Cards account; how they go about taking people's credit details is what I don't understand. They have collected un-authorized £6.95 and £15.00 from account on the Month of September 2015 and October 2015.
