This number is calling me up to 5 times a day I have turned my phone off today because it rings nearly every half an hour with withheld, unavailable and international numbers as well as 0800 numbers and people trying to sell me kitchens and windows. I am supposed to be a referenced number but am on the verge of having the landline removed as I am sick of feeling held to ransom in my own home.

I'm getting plagued by these idiots four or five times a day, I like my ringtone do I leave it ringing! If they're willing to pay their staff wages to call me do I can listen to my ringtone, then so be it! lol Keep paying them to call me!!!!! lol

Two calls just now, one on landline and one on mobile. Wouls like them to stop.

*Had your windows installed or replaced by companies such as Everest and more
*Maybe made an enquiry about windows installation or blinds online
*Been to an Ideal World home show and submitted details
*Maybe ticked a box saying "allow contact from third parties " or "allow sharing with third parties"

These are just a select few of how we got your details ... These details you have given out this year or maybe even years ago are still kept on file.

A tip for you IF you don't want our services:

You see our number ringing you and don't pick up the phone ? DON'T DO IT ! Pick up the phone , confirm its ourselves and say "could you take ME/US off your calling list" and the calls will stop. You need to remember its our job to call you and speak with someone. If you ignore the call, another agent will try again.

Telephone Preference Service (TPS) Registered customers:
If you are registered with the TPS and say "I'm with TPS I shouldn't get these calls" WRONG.
TPS is used to stop companies that "cold call" and intent on selling over the phone and has acquired your details illegally.  

Our company has not obtained your details illegally. We've acquired them from yourselves on our website OR acquired them from companies such as Everest Windows who we are in partnership with or other sources as I mentioned above. All our information is mailed and in use with Fair Trading.

We CANNOT get your details out of nowhere so please remember that or try and remember what you might of enquired about or registered for. That go's for Ex-Directory numbers aswell. Ex-Directory OR NOT that is still a number that you use and have provided with other information.

That's all well and good, but when I get a call from this number, all I hear is a busy room (call centre?) for a couple of seconds then the called hangs up. What's the point?

I know exactly what you're talking about. Basically you get some workers that are willing to work hard for their money and provide a good service and you get some that don't. Some I like to call (lazy workers) Have been hanging up the phone without speaking to anyone. I can tell you this action has been addressed and have clamped down on it! Shouldn't have this in future. I can only apologize on behalf. Appreciate your understanding.

I don't answer either.  I haven't been well, and dislike receiving such calls on a Sunday afternoon.

I can understand your frustration but its better to (if your not interested) just to answer and say "can you please take me off your calling list" or however you want to say it and the calls will stop. Otherwise as I said before its our job to speak to people, if no-one answers another agent will try again.

three phone calls a day from these idiots & finally I'd had enough. They ring & then if I answer they hang up, All they are doing is boosting their call figures, so the telesales parasites can say they have reached their call quota per day.
Rang the number on their webshite & said I'd like to make a complaint... The person took my first name & phone number & said that she would "pass my details on...." I told them they have p*$$ed ALOT of people off & they really should look on the internet to see what harm the marketing is doing them.
I will be complaining to BT in the morning & then maybe I'll repeatedly call the company & hang up.
I may see if I can find the MD's phone number, because Im sure he would like everyone of us to call him repeatedly & hang the F**k up. A Hole.
Sorry for the swearing but along with all the other idiots calling me from international call centres I feel like ripping the phone out the wall & binning it. Its MY phone, I pay for the blasted thing so why do I have to put up with constant harassment form parasite like this.

I kept getting calls from these. I eventually told them to stop calling and take me off the list. The calls stopped for about a month then started again. This time I was a bit more sharp with them and was told to get over myself. Lets see if they start again in a month or so
