Below is what I sent to the watchdog

There is an ad offering jobs in the Herne Bay Times with not too much info, only a phone number 08006899008 and a name, Mark on it.I researched it on the internet and according to most of the info available, this is a scam and every time you phone this number, you get a voice message asking you to text your name and contact details to a mobile number.

What seems to be happening here is that these people charge you for calling  and if you text your details, you get charged for that too. Your details are then sold to call centres.

This ad seems to have appeared all over the country.

Something should be done about this as these people are exploiting desperate jobseekers.

    Mr ******

Thank you for raising this with the newspaper, unfortunately this is a
nationwide scam and managed to get through into newspapers within our
    group.

Trading standards and the police have been informed.

This number was also in my local paper (Hinckley) so I think that this job is a scam

It also appeared in The News, Portsmouth 7/1/10.  I phoned today (9/1/10) and a voice at the other end said the number had been changed to 0845 2996103.  When I called this number I was asked to type in the extension number followed by the hash key.  I did not have an extension number so I hung up.

Unfortunately, I will probably be charged for the 0845 number.  Lesson learnt - if it looks too good to be true, then it's probably a scam !

Data entry does get £10 an hour, I got it when I was 17, but after visiting this page and one on Money Saving Expert I'm starting to get more wary

also says something that when you Google Mark Jackson it suggests "Albion Computers" now

Also now in the Worcester Evening News.

Rang the O800 number but googled it once it asked me to call an 0845 (ie money) number.  Have reported it to the paper who are also reporting it to trading standards,as am I.

    Its a Joke
I live in County Tyrone Northern Ireland, if this shop is so legit were is your northern ireland office based at?

Because £10/hr for the job advertised is a little bit of a give away. Lets get real here - £6 / £7 /hr maybe.

Your a fake, a joke scamming people never got anyone anywhere. Get a life.

I have found this advert a while ago in a Kent local paper. It states that they are looking for Data Entry/Customer Service staff in their offices in Epsom, Gillingham, Reigate, Margate etc; Sounds harmless enough, but I thought I would google the number to find out the company name and what they do. Suprise, suprise I find this webpage and its all a scam. I thought it would be too good to be true £10ph!

This has appeared in our local paper in Devon, Tavistock Times.  It looks like a freephone number so I rang it but luckily for me, it says this number cannot be recognised.  Maybe they realise that people are onto them! this was for £10 ph for data entry so yes, it looked too good to be true and gut feeling was right
