This number came up pretending to be Barclays Bank. They are not and will take your money.
If they call report it and don't give them any details.
Call your bank through the number on your card and check your account is ok.
Pass this to friends and family so they don't get cought out.

Just had a call from this number demanding to speak to the husband, she was persistent but it did not ring true when she said she could not speak to me.  The person claimed to be Barclays Bank but when I rang the number I had already for Barclays, it is not one of their numbers (fraud dept confirmed this).

message straight to voicemail stating different number 08450760174 may call me back . Suggest add this to your barred list and do not call them back

Received 2-ring call to my mobile. searched Google and decided it was suspicious as I do not have a Premier Barclays Account. Did not return call. There is a website which looks like Barclays at https://www.home.barclays/contact/gb/premier-banking.html containing this number. Reported by email to Barclays fraud dept.

Had a missed call from 0800 924 7365 on my mobile. On looking this number up believe it is a fraudulant call saying they are barclays premier and advised to report this

On the website 'http://www.barclays.co.uk/premier-current-account' it states that the phone number for premier banking is 0800 924 7365.
I am pretty sure 'www.barclays.co.uk' is their official site.

This IS Barclays, premium Banking. I checked on their Web pages before calling them.

Called from this number: did not answer read threads clearing scammers.

Spoke to Barclays fraud dept. They assured me this is a genuine Barclays number.

I called Barclays Premier Banking and they it is normal outbound verification to ask for 2 characters from mothers maiden name and 2 from DoB. I told them I didn't like this sort of call and changed my stored value to something else.

This is a Lie it is a courtesy call for a financial review from the Relationship Team in Barclays Premier. They never ask for account information. Would be a different story though if no questions were asked and you got rinsed!

They can only speak on an individual basis had something similar they said even though it is a joint account they had to speak to my partner . All good though both happy with services anyway

Any communication from Barclays Bank to me has been by surface mail, possibly followed by my visit to any High Street Branch.  There is no need for any communication from them to me by telephone.  Ignore call from this number, do not tell them anything.  (Note that caller's telephone number may be faked)

It definitely IS from Barclays. I had 3 phone calls but did not answer as I did not recognise the number. It is the same number as on the back of my banking card. I rang the number and went through the usual security check. They checked and confirmed they had tried to ring to check everything is ok as I have just set up online banking.

This is the listed telephone number on the Barclays website for existing Premier customers. HOWEVER, I would never give ANY details or 'security check' on an incoming call. ALWAYS  VALIDATED THE NUMBER AND CALL BACK if you want.

These calls make me feel uncomfortable
It might be Barclays it might not be hard to tell. If Barclays phones your mobile they should assume it is the person they want to speak to and drop their security questions .
