The above number call this lunch time I didn't answer they did not leave a message so checked this site and found out it is a scam and has been checked by others who have  also had a call from this number 22,000 times

It’s literally the number that all Barclays websites advertise as theirs. Paranoid much?

Sounded convincing ,Re-Barclays Premier account asked for detasils of my account, said i did not have them to hand, woman said she would call back later,all very pleasant,not like usual scam calls,glad I checked on this number

Despite me telling them to hat I do not want any marketing calls, I keep getting calls from this number. Either Barclays are ignoring my request or someone is cloning their premier banking number, either way I won’t talj to them.

You need to call and inform them you don't want them to contact. I worked on this team at Barclays they're relationship managers it's their job to speak with you and support you. Under GDPR it's not a marketing call or nuisance call as they're calling with your best interests at heart to build a relationship with you and provide assistance. Call and ask them to stop relationship calls and they will. Hope this helps.

Received a call from this number this evening. A man rang saying that he was from Barcalys Bank. Called on my mobile several times. Very suspicious this must be a scam. Banks don't ring you. If any information was required they would send via post surely. I didnt give him the time of day of course you get all the usual sales talk how are you this evening i said fine thanks then i hang up abruptly i have already sent another report you can worry when bank call you.

Messaged me asking me to phone them on this number but said phoning back would not be FOC. Very annoying to be asked to phone Barclays on a number that they charge you for calling. I refuse to further inflate their ill gotten gains by adding to their coffers through telephone charging.

THIS IS A SCAM !!!! These scammers can mirror the number from the back of your card when it comes through . When Barclays ring you it will never come up as this number . It is 100% a scam hang up and ring the bank back . I used to work for Barclays believe so believe me anyone on hear claiming it’s a legitimate call is also a scammer or just extremely stupid ! Do not give any details away .
