I just got a call from them too - after doing a car insurance quote online.

Just got one too, didn't answer the call.  If it's important they would leave a message :-)

Here we go again, looks like they've got my number now!! Bugger

like others, now getting repetative with calls to house at dinner time, but constantly hang up when call answered.

Noticed these dates were Jan 08 don't know if it has still been happening or they have just started up again but happened to me too over last couple of days very annoying especially as I had just switched my phone on after a funeral, the first time. will try and see if removal happens in 3-5 days as quoted.

This number rang my mobile and hung up when I answered

had 7 missed calls from them today and 5 yeasterdsy

This happens to me everday around lunch time! I wish i had put my landline number in now as it wouldn't have been able to bother me at work! how do you make it stop!?!?!?!?

I have had 5 silent calls from this number in the past 6 days. They are always just after 5pm and are very annoying as there is never anyone there

a silent call,
then the machine at the other end did 3 beeps,
more silence
then they hung up

I kept getting calls then read this from an earlier post "easy to stop these calls - and here's how:  ring the 0800 number back and you'll get a recorded message giving you an alternative 0800 number (0800 952 4871).  Ring this one, and you'll have the option of removing your tel no from their call list."

Shouldn't really have to do all this, but I will see if it solves the problem.

Grrr... I'm getting them too! Like I haven't got anything better to do!!

I have had this caller ID number at least 6 or 7 times in just over 2 hours.All i do do is senD a busy tone FROM MY MOBILE.tHEY ARE A BLINKING PAIN.

MoreThan appear to be pestering me. There was silence when I picked the phone uptoday.   I found out the number is MoreThan. I also received an unsolicited letter from Morethan this morning. This is the second letter I've received. I just bin them. I am registered with both the TPS and the Mail Preference Service

I get the same thing, its very annoying. Do this, call TPS. The Telephone Preference Service.

It takes a month to be fully working and cost nothing. Remember if you have an 0845 number on your phone put that in too as these companies will use any number to get to you.

A second comment by me. A few weeks ago one of my customers said he deals with them in a more interesting way. When he gets the call about insurance, mobile phones or what ever he says, "Thats sounds great, would you mind waiting just a moment"  He puts the reciever on the table and goes and makes a cup of tea, leaving the poor swine to wait and wait and wait. eventually they will give up.
What I liked about it is, if it takes up a minute of your time you can take back 5 - 10 minutes of theirs. Just a thought :) CALL IT ACTIVE DEFENSE

I have called More Than  direct  0800 072 4186  I spoke to someone in India and said 'TAKE ME OFF YOUR CALL LIST' they askwed for name and postcode and said that this has now been done.

Phoned my mobile, asking for owner or manager.

Googled and got hers.

Only once so far, but will watch for this B####ocks

Getting calls from this number through our business line so obviously they get our number from business directories, but seriously people, if your giving your PRIVATE phone number out over the internet WHAT DO YOU THINK THEY ARE GOING TO DO?!!! IF YOU DONT WANT THE CALLS - DONT GIVE YOUR NUMBER OUT

Got called 3 times now from this number today and getting very annoying.
