I keep getting calls from 0800 952 4863, most times that I answer it they hang up. I've looked up the number and I believe its Scottish Power. They called me today 5/9/13 at 17.08pm, I did not pick it up.

Keep getting calls from this number, don't normally answer, but today I did. Didn't speak, just left my phone on my desk and kept rubbing the mouthpiece.  All I could hear on the other end was some woman keep calling my name, they eventually hung up.  Thinking of purchasing a whistle!

i have had at least 3 or 4 calls each day since monday this week, if i get my hands on them i dont know what i will do, but if you could be locked up for thinking what you will do to them i would not see the light of day again

Why would i want to change to scottish power when i work for E ON.why dont they take the hint.call me twice a day.

scotish power .. if on a mobile download truecaller app from app store .. you can block all spam and cold callers .. your phone wont even ring  they added to my block list now

They called me yesterday setting they were  from 02

I don't know where people get the idea this is Scottish power. I rang it back and it's O2. Checking up on existing customers and trying to sell them more products.   Very strange that so many people are saying Scottish power. :/

Missed call from this number today as keep my phone on "do not disturb" so only my "favourites" can get through to me. Am with o2.

I got a call from the same number claiming to be 02

Nuisance Call

08009524863 keeps calling, it started after doing a survey online. You delete your number as its auto filled in but they already have it. This is illegal.

Saying from o2 trying to reduce my bill but wanted to confirm my address. So just put the phone down. sounded dodgy not sure though

Caller stated they were from O2 and could I give him some of my details as they could help me save money and give me a better deal than the one I was already on?? I said I was happy with what I had already agreed with O2 he at this point ended the call.......

This is funny what I said to them,I didn't give them chance to say anything this is how it went!   'The job is done!There was a lot of blood,but yes they are all dead'!   Then put phone down,they not rung since lol.

Call from o2 - offering me discount deals - I declined

This will be a third party company who work on behalf of companies like o2 and Scottish power to sell them products or utilities

This is not O2 although the persistent irish man told me he was O2 and then changed it to calling on behalf off as a loyal customer. I've only been with them 3 months. He was also happy to freely use my name - where did he get that from? O2 should be ashamed that they sell customer information in this way.
