My son was getting these messages so using the above details i called their office number 020 7798 2800

The lady on the phone told me the number had come from www.pornhub.com and gave me the date and time he was on the website, she said he had installed an app.

I have spoken to him and he insists he didnt install an app but was on the website.

This leads me to think either Orange have leaked the number to the website (just like 02 did earlier this year), or his iphone security was compromised as it was jailbroken .

It would be useful if all people affected could leave their phone provider, phone model, whether it is jailbroke or not and if it has been used to visit www.pornhub.com

Got this msg after installing apps "Logo Quiz" and "IMDb", I doubt it's from IMDb. Haven't tried uninstalling yet but hopefully that will stop them

I found a way to stop it. After being bombarded with texts and unwilling to pay to phone i finally clicked a link and scrolled down to the bottom of the screen which tells you to opt out of these messages simply send the word STOP to the number 69995 hope this helps!

Forward the text to your operators mobile spam number. For instance on Orange is 7226.

These texts are persisted and very annoying. The instigators need kicked big style

The stop advice given above has so far worked for me, text stop to 69995 as it doesn't have a reply to message option.

just rang switchfire and they said my number is not on there system  . They said wahoo is no longer there client. The also suggested ringing up service provider and asking them where the messaages come from in order to contact them. They said a 5 digit short number may help which you would get of your service provider. The 5 digit short number could maybe used to by switchfire to find this wahoo peeps.(thats bull though..they would of done it if that was the case)

If any has the new registered companies details that would help. but switchfire could be bluffing. If anyone has results please give a shout

" in your EYE! is now cancelled. please delete all WAP links to this service. if you return to the site, you will rejoin the service." so thats me happy again. like mart i am on sony experia s with 02. what a shower of bas++++s the people behind this are. again thanks guys..

How much do you get charged for texting STOP to 69995?

After reading the comments, I clicked the link, scrolled down read the part about texting stop to 69995. There's also a link there. Click it and it'll take you to another page. Then it'll have an opt out link which leads you to a page that says you've been opted out.

I've not received anything yet in text to confirm it, but we'll see if I get any more texts from them.

But if it is coming from the website, that's something that poses serious questions about security and privacy. It says I've opted out, but how does it know what number to remove from the database through the web browser?

i have been getting these for around a month now its disturbing as ive NEVER used any websites on my iphone for porn! my children use my iphone and most apps are games, ive bought some books in ibooks, and i recently reinstalled KIK MESSENGER and i got a message same day im wondering whether it is that app.
i have forwarded all messages to 7726 as O2 customer service guy asked me to and said WAHOO isnt even listed on there server ;/
when i get some credit next week ill text stop to that 69995 to try that but ive just followed link to a discusting page called devinant something porn site and 'opt out' its seriously sick if they can get my number by a app or going on imdb (which i use a lot) and kids pages like cbbc etc.
i hope everyone gets this company sorted and out there lives its discusting im not against porn but when my children use my phone i am.

Keep getting freeMSG that suggests pornographic content followed by link, Have reported to 7726 but they seem unable to do anything.....really annoying !!!!!!

UPDATE: o2 gave me credit to txt 69995 to make sure i wasnt charged loads and its stopped the txts its from a company called DEVIANT TUBE i have NEVER opt in for anything like that i googled and its a porn site for bdsm/fetish/beastiality ;/ and only recent app added was KIK messenger o2 sugested i remove the app as its obviously a leak.

i use a iphone 4 and somehow started getting these texts. i sent stop to 69995 and it seems to work. just have to cross fingers its works. these guys are really shady and i wouldnt be surprised if they pass numbers on to others. every business should be able to advertise, but discretion is needed and porn shouldnt be forced into peoples faces via theyre phones. i hope something is done about these people
