Getting the same rubbish as everybody else so it seems! I have a HTC wildfire s on orange contract. Had these texts for a while now and havent ever been on the websited suggested. Tempted to text stop to the number given but worried in case I'm charged as my contracts not even in my name its my dads :/

I have been recieveing unwanted sms from 08434610553 I am unable to stop them. I have tried sending STOP but it still hasnt stopped.

I got text off these people, opened not thinking, took me to sight called devient tube, which then said thank you for downloading if you want anymore downloads it will cost me another £4.50. I never downloaded anything in first, I can't because I have restriction in place because my granddaughter plays with my phone.  So I couldn't download porn even if I wanted to without going in shop to get restriction removed.  Anyway I deleted and thought no more of it, the day after got 3 texts  in quick sucession for which I have been charged £1.50 each. I rang the wahoo help number attached and asked automated service to remove my number from everything and it said it had, I just hope that's the end of it cos I can't be paying £1.50 whenever they decide to send text. If it continues what can I do please advise.

How do u make it stop where does it come from I have an iPhone 4S n it keeps coming up funny how its only seems to be an iPhone problem I can't be dealing with phoning a premium rate number off my mobile or using a pay phone to do it that would cost loads n I doubt it will work

I keep receiving pornographic related texts from this company, i have tried sending STOP but this returns failed, they want me to ring a premium rate number to get my number removed, I have not given my number out to this company nor do they have my permission. the number they use is 08434610553

I did look at a porn site (youporn) but never ever opted in to anything or bought anything. Never gave them my number, they must have harvested it somehow. Also I strongly suspect that all the messages posted here saying "I texted STOP..." are from the same spam/porn company who want you to use their premium services.   I will be harassing them on their office 0207 number. They are sending me lots of texts with dodgy links to sex tapes etc.

My son just admitted to visiting a porn site on his phone, but not downloading or installing anything (iPhone)
Privacy is set to not allow access to contacts etc, but there are multiple messages being received from this same number.

Im not calling any premium, nor am I texting STOP to any number posted nor would I if it was in the message itself which it is not.

The local number is definitely more appealing, so will try that route tomorrow.

Now my son is 12, he admitted to being curious (fair play for his honesty) but he should not be subject to consistent bombardments of pornography marketing.  I will take this as far as possible, it is a violation of privacy.  However they are obtaining the number, it is without authorisation.

hi i received a text from this number saying freemsg and when i vlicked on the message it diverted me to a porn site which then registered me and took my credit off my phone can you please get this stopped as i wouldnt like this to happen to my son or anyone else.

In the first instance I use iphone 4s as well and the first time I received the message, I opened it and subsequent ones as well and surprisingly when I checked my balance I was billed £11 just for opening the sites on the messages I got. When I realized I had been conned, anytime I receive the message I delete it straight away without opening it and this seems to be working as the frequency of the message has reduced drastically, once in two to three weeks now. I am quite sure as long as I continue doing that they are going to stop sending me the useless text.

Text STOP to 69995, and delete the KIK messenger app (go to Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, scroll down to KIK app, open it, clear cache, clear data).

EVERYONE who says they have just been charged or they have just randomly been contacted, means that someone else other than you has used your phone or you are lying. These people cannot just grab your number and send you charges as they would all be done for theft. As you can see this is not the case, the services are tested by regulators and networks and dont get shut down. Why because they are compliant with the rules.

I used to work in the mobile industry. I know this for a FACT. So before everyone starts blaming these companies, for SPAM etc perhaps it is best to know the facts:

1. If your MOBILE has browsed there site and downloaded. Chances are they now know your mobile number.

2. If you have browsed there site and downloaded you have given them the right to contact you... Why have you given them the right because there terms STATE this is what will happen when you browse or download or watch a video.

3. You say you have not browsed any porn site, if you haven't who would could have... whos got a teenage child... then think again as this happens and when they say it wasn't me... CHANCES are they are lying. or it was your HUSBAND.

4. call the company, they will give you time and date of when the phone browsed the site. Now call your network operator, as long as the phone was not on wifi they can confirm the phone was browsing a site at that time. This proves point 3. Or that you are in denial and the facts are you do watch porn but are mouthing off because you have been caught.

5. Applications gaining your details, on iPhone is doubtful, possible but doubtful, Android, check the damn PERMISSIONS.

The bottom line is this is simple to STOP and in 99.9% of cases you are to blame for not checking who is using the phone or what is being downloaded to the phone or not checking the site terms.

Ok now you all know this, here is the simplest thing you can do to prevent this continuing.

1. Reply STOP

2. reply STOP ALL.

This WILL stop the SMS. You can do this to any message it is not just this company this is UK sms law, this is the procedure to stop these kind of messages. Unless you get PPI messages from a long mobile number. These people operate from out of the UK and will just ignore you!!

If you contact Vodafone they can block all premium texts in and out and the problem goes away.
