I am receiving bills to these numbers and don't know what they are for can you help please

Yes thats right....its the number for customer services at PC world and the area code may be one from the United States, cause calls are heavily charged on dialing the number. I now regret making a call myself.

This number 084456 10000  has just cost me £1.33 to PC world just to see if they had somehing in stock!!!!They promised to check then ring back but didn't.So I had to call them again. I won't be doing this again. They just lost a customer.

Phoned for information was on hold for 5 mins don't know how much that will cost me

I had to phone PC World for a fault and it cost me £1.77 because they kept putting me on hold!

i rang for them to pick my laptop up they put me on hold the bill came in mother went mad it cost 3pound77pence but i dnt care not me who pays they bill mwahha! lol

I have insurance cover for both desktop and laptop..had to phone "technical" due to pc fault several times over 3 months and have just added up my call charges to near £20 pounds!! PC WORLD U RIP OFF!!

PC World is it? Not only have we had to pay for a repair - the second occurrence of a fault within 12 months - but they don't phone when they promise so we have to chase them! Good plan PC World. perhaps we should hit them where it hurts (DSG) by not shopping with them and so crashing their shares. That goes for Currys also. Show these clever(?) marketing people that only honest customer service pays - short term profits cost.

Yes, these calls are really expensive and, being a customer service number, you are often made to wait a long time!

To add insult to injury you first have to listen to  along spiel on what to do if you'e enquiring about a faulty BEKO fridge. I wonder what % of caller actually want this info . These 0888 etc numbers should be made illegal.

today it has costed me nearly £9.00 for call. I mad 3 different call and total comes to £9.00 which is very high amount.  0844 number is total rip off

I just had a row with o2 regarding my bill, and found out they charged me extra because i phoned Currys on the only number they said i could call them on. So i got charged more by o2 because they say i am not allowed to call these numbers in my package, so i get "stuffed" by both companies. It's fraud!! ..how can a company sell you goods that are faulty, and then you end up paying them money through the "rip off" lines to get the faulty goods replaced.

Happened to me too.. 31 Oct 08445610000 £4.56!   Thing is I wasn't talking to PC workd but Curry's/know how to return an item... Is this how they operate!! : (

I've just checked this number out wondering who all the calls were to, mine were to Currys, It is a rip off especially when you have to wait ages for them to answer the phone.

I've just phoned PC world on 08445616263. Wasted money going through the menu then "All our agents are busy" loads of times. Useless retailer.

There is a great site out there called Say NO to 0870 numbers! It dosent just deal with 0870 but all the premium numbers. It'll give you alternative direct line numbers for most of the premium calls. I've saved fortunes and dont have to wait in queues especially when phoning the TAX man!!!

Aaarrgghhh, just figured it's also Curry's. Not only did they completely stuff up our order (resulting in us cancelling) they also ripped my wallet out for the displeasure!!
