- Karen replies to DarrenI know how you feel - just spent over £1.50 caling them back so that they could offer me 90 pence compensation for having the pleasure of returning a faulty Dyson to them. YES 90p!!!!
Customer Service - NOT
Total disdain for their customers - YES
Sharing details of their generous 'compensation' offer with everyone I possibly can, returned the replacement in disgust & bought at John Lewis instead.
Would rather burn my cash them give it to CURRYS! - SteveJust checked my phone bill and found I had rung up £7.32 calling PC World to complain about a TV that had been delivered with a broken stand. I was kept hanging on the phone for 17 minutes. PC WORLD your a bunch of RIP OFF MERCHANTS. Shame on you for using premium rate numbers for your customer service. Last time I buy anything from you. Plus surprise surprise no replacement stand sent yet in over a month.
- LinOver £13 bill, to tell them they'd sent a faulty tablet! THEN waited weeks after they had the item returned, for a refund!!! All in all it cost me around £20 for the pleasure of TRYING to shop there! Poor show :(
N.B: The number is a customer services (no option for that on dropdown, so had to stick with unknown)- Caller: PC World

- raniWho r these people?
- Caller: spec serv
- Alanjwondered why my phone bill was so much this month.
details show a call to PC World in December, trying to locate a product in one of there stores!
in the end had to drive to a store 40 mins away, as the only store with it in stock, and then found out i paid nearly £6 for a phone call on top of the £15 in petrol for the privilege of buying one of their products!!!
What an absolute rip off!- Caller: PC World

- Nan replies to Laxmi BhusalGo to their website and look for another number. You could also go to the "Say no to 0870" webste which covers most 08 numbers and put in the number.

- PeterYes it's Currys. Won't call them again
- Muggins| 1 replyCharged £3.33 for calling PC World to check stock on £700 Laptop (which i did buy). Nice scam PC World, well done... well done indeed!
- Caller: PC World
- Really? replies to MugginsCalling a known premium rate number (that charges a premium rate) is a "scam" because ....... ? No, sorry, can't work that one out. Oh! Then you went & bought it too! That's teaching them a lesson they not gonna forget in a hurry?
- Steve Jones| 1 replyI called PC World to check status of a faulty pc. The cost from my Vodafone mobile was £8.03 for a 15 minute call. They were ages coming back. Turns out my pc was ready ten days earlier but they forgot to call and let me know. Why are we paying for their service mistakes. Cheeky, cheeky, cheeky. There are alternatives suppliers so I'm going elsewhere next time.
- Caller: PC World
- Really? replies to Steve Jonesthis is a forum for exchanging information on unknown callers or unwanted calls/texts NOT a consumer experience site complaining about long waits or shoddy service. Take it up with PC World customer relations, they need to know you're unhappy. You might even get a goodwill voucher or refund.
- Phil HolmesI had to call this number for a refund of 15 pounds for a PC World error, which was refunded. However I was kept hanging on the phone for 20 minutes and was charged 3.20! What a rip off! I'm out of pocket because of THEIR incompetence. Does anyone know who I can call to complain to without incurring more charges?
- kingstonI believe its not pcw/currys issue. its your service providers. I am with o2 and they list 0844 as a service line and charge a access charge of 55p pm.
- Skin493Just checked my phone account and found I had been charged 52p in my out of contract charges for 7 secs ,this was to my local Curry store, needless to say I have now blocked this number, another customer lost.....keep ripping customers off like this, and no amount of advertising will beat the damage caused by word of mouth.
- Call type: Valid
- KathyI called PC world customer service for help setting up Printer. I have a charge for £8.58 for the call and 2 charges of 52pence a few minutes before that call where I was trying to get an answer,
- smithy replies to john bExact same happened to me - called the number for currys PC World given me by their online page - to see if an item in stock. Was charged 1.18 and the sales rep was unhelpful even. Be warned. It is better to walk into the store yourself.
