Just had this number call us about a Government run debt scheme.    

Wish they would get lost.

Sounds like a scam to sell IVAs.

Get a call from this number at least twice a day trying to sell me IVAs. If you don't answer, they've started leaving you a message. Usually, the number is withheld, but not always. Who do we report them to? I'm already registered with the TPS.

Keep getting call from this number, infact 2 in the last hour......getting annoyed

If you possibly can, block the caller. My provider has the option & I think a lot of them have nowadays, even BT. When I went to block it, I was informed by the lovely recorded lady 's voice that the call had originated from 0161-601-0066 - NOT the 08446860199 that my caller ID showed it to be.

We've got both numbers now for whoever this is - so block them both if you can. I have.

Interesting point: this call came within 15 minutes of me getting a call from someone displaying their number as 0044161968201, about which this forum has several posts from irritated recipients like me! Coincidence? I don't think so. I'm guessing they're all from the same company.

Have been getting a message on my answer-machine from these daily and getting very fed up with them now :(

Calling on average 2-3 times a day. If you're reading this whoever you are please note that i have a dialler display box and NEVER pick up unknown numbers.
So kindly stick that in you're pipe or up you're jaxie. Whichever is the most painful.

These fools have been calling everyday for the last month or so, up until today the number has always been witheld. If I answer its a recorded message offering to sell IVA's etc. I just hang up.

The frustrating thing is that until now the number doesnt come up so I couldnt block it. Really annoying as they can sometimes phone three times in one day. This kind of thing really should be stopped.

Same number same time when answered no one there.Have tried TPS & no joy in getting it blocked.
Don't return thier call as it costs you every time you try. They will get fed up with any luck or at least answer when you pick up the phone.

If they keep trying just leave the phone of the hook & it will cost them(:-

Very difficult to get rid of scum like these as they earn 5ppc-5ppm for each call made to them..Nice little earner & if you have debt problems you can ill afford ar-- holes like these.

I tried to report these idiots to my telephone provider, Virgin Media, last night. I was offered a block for £2 a month. When I told them I didn't want to pay to block them, I was directed to their 'nuisance' helpline which was a recorded message giving advice on how to protect yourself from nuisance calls. So, a waste of time there.

I have reported them on http://www.reportacall.co.uk/, but I don't hold out much hope of getting them banned. Surely there is someone we can report them to and get them shut down.

Absolutely sick of these people calling, must get at least 5 calls per day from them.  They are just parasites!!!!!! Leave people alone to get on with their work!!!!

I receive a call from this number 08446860199 first thing they say is don't hang up come on it's a marketing ploy for iva cold calling who are these people

same as everyone else keep getting calls off these, although this is the first time the number wasn't with held. I have registered with the TPS and sent an email to the ICO but still I get these calls, I really wish someone would do something about this.

Just had a call on my land line, (I am on the TPS and I am ex-directory). It went to answer phone, no msg left.
