i work in cold calling and this is funny the way phones 4 u say there script lol fair play its a good one and prob works and the sales staff prob earns loads, cant fault them.

i didnt answer it because i didnt reconsise the number

i called phone 4 u. they said this is a scam, people calling people pretending to be phone 4 u and trying to sell them insurance, then using there bank details. One to advoided!!!!

Been called a couple of times by this number.  No idea who they are or what they want.  It's just very disruptive and annoying.

Very annoying when your trying to sleep, been called regularly from this number for weeks now. Not every day but always more than twice when they do. If it really is Phones 4 U i`ll just ignore it, have no business with them so why are they phoning?!

This number called me today and when I called it back it said they were calling from Phone 4 U and that I didn't need to call them back. Also that they will call us when they need to. Definitely dodgy caller!!

Well they foned me once 2 days ago and I didn't answer in time, I hear its phones 4 u bt they have nuthin to do with my fone! And a friend of mine sed it cud be 1 of those numbers that fones n wen u answer it takes ure credit.. So I have no idea wats goin on!

The guy said a friend of mine had recommended me as a friends and family person. He asked me how long was left on my contract, when I said it's an iPhone one that ends in march he said I'm afraid that's a bit far away so I'll call you back nearer to the time.

It all sounded a bit [***] etc but the odd thing is he actually gave me one of my mates names correctly which was a bit freaky. The friend isn't a guy I know that well so I might msg him and if he really did recommend me. Strange!

I have rang that number  and it is the famous Phone4U. i then called Phone4you to escalate  the issue- i managed to get one of their customer service agent to send an internal e-mail to one of their team to remove my number from their system - theiy have just lost a customer

I emailed phones for you at the following email address talktous@phones4u.co.uk - told them if they didn't stop calling I would report them to OfComm - they emailed me back within an hour to say my number had been taken off their contact list. So far, no calls since so fingers crossed.

Yep. Calls from Phones4U.  Also, they are on an autodial (I think it's 6) so if you are the first of 6 to pick up --- Bamm ----  You'll get the most exciting indian sales pitch ever.  I've even heard that sex phone lines are now being outsourced to indian call centres. It'll never be the same with the words "can I be helping you to come, Sir?"

I have recieved calls from this number then when i answer all i hear is loud noises in the background then they hang up.  I have tried calling back but cannot get through!   It is very frustrating and invasive!  If I want your product I will find you! Leave me alone!!!

I keep getting calls from the number 08450268990 and i want to know if anyone knows who it is?!!

i had a call from this number claiming they where from a phone company and that a friend of mine had been into there branch and saved alot of money of there phone and that they passed my details onto them to see if i could save some money to. i asked what the name of the friend was called and she said 'donna' i told her i dont have a friend called donna and she said sorry data gets mixed up sometimes and hung up...SCAM!!!

Someone called my number and haung up.
