These people call me daily and are a total pest. They are insure4retirement. I complained to the TPS and the company

Phone has rung three times today and only 3pm now!  When answered, no one speaks so I looked up the number on the internet.  I then dialled the number back 0845 0451530 and an ansaphone said 'sorry we missed you; we called about Insurance for Retirement.....'    It did however, give me an Option (2) to delete my number from their calling database, which I did.   If they call me again, I'll report them to the insurance ombudsman or whatever they're called.

I am also on the TPS service so this has really hacked me off.  I wouldn't mind if I was retiring age but I'm not!

Phone rang, I answered, nobody there. I dialled 1471 and called back to find it was an insurance company that couldn't take my call just then!

an those of you on the tps! if u use a tickbox or agree to something AFTER you registered you have essentialy given them permission to call them even tho ur on it!

Sick of these people.... recently lost my job and desperate for work, registered with agencies and constantly waiting for the phone to ring.  When you pick from this crowd SILENCE.. you hang up a couple of hours later they ring again and its the same.

This number has been calling repeatedly.  when I first answered they said I could claim £23k for a mis0sold payment protection plan.  when I said I wasn't interested the caller got quote aggressive.  I refused to discuss further but since then they have been calling up to 7 times a day.  I didnt catch the Company name they used but they are now driving me mad.

Three calls from this number today, all missed (good!) Persistant *!!*# blighters.

I get several calls a day from this number. I do not answer as I suspect it is a cold sales call. No message is left.

I took your advice and chose option 2 to delete my details. I hope i receive no furthr calls.

Hi This number is from an insurance company of sorts, they leave no messages!!!!!

2 calls from them yesterday. Unfortunately I answered the first but - of course - nobody there. Let it go to answerphone next time.  Is there no facility similar to TPS for 08xx numbers?

Nobody at the other end -has happened several times-is extremely annoying

Had calls from this number a few times. Just ran to phone as it stopped ringing (was outside) and 1471'd it. I read this thread after finding out who it was, I've done the suggested 'option 2' and it says my number will be off their database within 2 hours. If I gets calls again, I'll post back to let people know it doesn't work (if that is the case)

If you use a comparison site, expectthis kind of chase up cold-caller.
If they think I would buy from an annoying caller, they are so wrong!

Rang twice. First time they left no message on answering machine. Second time, a male caller asked for my wife by surname name, but wouldn't say from who he represented. I suspect it may be fro a company who advertise "insuring for retirement" or some such name. They have called before, I think. Caller said he would call again tomorrow.

Wanted to know when my house insurance is due for renewal.  I refused to tell them until they told me the company and location they were calling from.  Wouldn't answer my questions but kept plugging her questions at me.  This is now getting ridiculus.  What use is the TPS, if this kind of call keeps getting through.  Finally told her not to call me again and to remove me from her phone list.  Think I will contact Virgin and see what they can do regarding blocking certain numbers (not holding out much hope) !!!!!!!!!1

They keep calling me at work called them & if you press option 2 on the automated system they are supposed to remove your number from their data base withing 2 hours..this is the THIRD time I've done this Arrrrgghhhh :-(

Saynoto0870 site says that 08450451530 belongs to Insure for Retirement but my calls came from GoCompare which I had used to find buildings and contents insurance.  Incidentally the quotes were worse than my original insurance company.  An alternative number for 'Insure for Retirement' is 0800 2988707 if you want to complain.
