This number is calling me 2/3 times a day and has gone beyond a joke. I don't have a house, let alone a kitchen so they are wasting their time trying to flog me a kitchen I have no where to put besides ensuring that when I am in a position to consider a new kitchen I wouldn't buy one from them!!!!!

Phone rang a few times today 29 July 2010 at about 2.30 pm.

On picking it up, it went dead.

Dialled 1471: the caller number was 08450554454.

just had a call from kitchens direct and went to there website which offers a live chat service so i opened one up and asked why they keep ringing and hanging up. the person said ring this number 02380 236 447 and asked to be removed from the database lol

I have had two calls today - nothing said. Sad people. Lousy Kitchens!

I've been getting this number, among others, calling me quite frequently, which has become fairly irritating. What I've done right now is register all my phone numbers mobile/home/business etc. on the free Telephone Preference Service website: http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps

Your number(s) then get put on a list the telemarketers aren't ment to call (it says this may take up to 28 days). If you're still getting calls after 28 days then you can make an official complaint with them which gets investigated, as it is a legal requirement that companies don't make unsolicitated calls to numbers on the TPS register.

I've used the service before on my old home number and it seemed to work pretty well. Hopefully that should stop the majority of future calls too.

Have you registered with the Telephone Preference Service? It's illegal for companies to call numbers on the TPS register. See my comments a few entry down.

just had it on my mobile. Dumb [***] fu*ks.

NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH KITCHEN DIRECT.

Annoying [***] call my mobile, do not leaave messaage, causing me to return call.  Then only get message saying busy and offering 'ringback'.  Did that got the call but no one their end answers the 'phone.  They are making bundles of money from the 0845 system and call back.

What a bloody annoying and costly bunch of pests.  
I learnt here it is Kitchens Direct.  I hope they go broke again, get exposed by Watchdog again and lose loads of potential customers who read these comments

Received a call from 08450 554454 and when I answered they simply hung up, this is highly annoying.
I called back, guess what, no answer!

I dont' know who they are or why they keep phoning, it appears it may be Kitchens Direct who I have never contacted nor will I ever answer a call. Would be good if they could be made to stop.

Just called the 0800123321 number and told them to remove me number. They said they'll speak to their manager and try. I said "No, you won't try, you will remove it. If you call me again I'll report you". The apologised. Let's see if it stops.

If you call them, don't ask them to stop. Tell them to stop!

Got a missed call from 08450554454. I suspect it is Kitchen direct. They previously called me many times offering me voucher for £1000.00. I Asked her to send me money instead !!

I went to their web site and followed the instructions to remove my number from their database and have not received a call since! Worth doing.

my mother keeps getting calls from 08450554454, right pain in the bleeding "tonsils" (word edited there, lol!)

it got to the point where i registered her mobile with the TPS service!

how do these vultures get mobile numbers anyway?

cold call every 2 days to my mobile even when i've told them im not interested.

I've had several calls from this number, but I don't accept them and they hang up, leaving no message. Clearly a nuisance marketing outfit.

I worked for these cowboys about 15 years ago..
The way they get your number is by the general phonebook or they buy data from other companies that may hold your number...

if you get to speak to someone just say " im a council tennant " then you wont be bothered again...
