These people called asking me to do a complete money review. Wanted all my credit details, loans, mortgages etc. Wanted to send someone to my house to meet with me.

Barry Costello Monelle was mentioned as their sales director. When I googled him I found these pages written about him.

I think it was Credit Ageement Limited that Wired Legal Services' subsidiary PPIclaimsadvicecentre used on their website.  I complained to the ministry of justice and it was dropped immediately.  You have to be regulated by the MOJ and as a struck off solicitor, Barry Costello-Monelle (formerly and still occasionally known as Barry Luke Damian Young) was not allowed to be regulated by them but no doubt Credit Agreement Limited and Wired Legal Services t/a PPIclaimsadvicecentre have got into bed with each other.  Check out https://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/01618502123 and you'll see how dodgy these people are

Anyone who gets into bed with Barry Costello-Monelle (formerly known and still occasionally, when it suits him like when renting properties in Spain through Select Spanish Properties but failing to declare the income to the tax authorites) has got to be bad, you only got to meet the guy for 5 minutes and it's obvious let alone knowing what he has done in the past, like Quickdox and Money Return and Credit Agreement ltd all do, it' shameful really and they all spout on about customer care and confidentiality yet they let known conmen work for them and support the conmen's own businesses.  tell the papers, shout it from the rooftops, put it in your will, wrap your chips up in it, anything but we gotta stop em!!

Total scam. You can do it yorself for free. Bottom line if the agreement is incorrect then the debt is not enforceable. Go into Credit Cards (here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...play.html?f=11) and look at the front page - loads of pages about unenforceable credit agreements.

Bottom line is do not pay a company to do the same job you can do for free.

Obviously aimed at people looking for a QUICK RESOLUTION. Guess what? There just so happens to be a company called just that. Address familiar?

I have had several calls from this number, so I called them back - it was Credit something
They asked if I wanted to consolidate my debt.  I said no and they went on to explain that they can see I pay lots of creditors and I might want to consider consildating.

1. How do they get away with this?
2. How the hell do they get my number?
3. You hear them out and then say no thank you and they then challenge your desicion - get lost - if we have said we don't want something then we don't want it!

This really gets my back up - they say things like if you consolidate you can relax abit, reduce your debt, take a holiday.  I owe debt because I borrowed money. Taking holidays or using guys like these are not going to reduce my debt, I ow what I owe.  They must think we are stupid!

Anyway moan over.

My advise - be strong.  Start questioning who they are and ask them to verify their identity, this usually upsets them :)

Here here!  Have you checked out the other site that these people are involved with type in 01618502123, most of the postings keep getting deleted by they are all conmen and you'll see how on that site, Barry Costello-Monelle formerly barry Luke Damian Young, his brother Lorne Young, struck off solcitors, debt owing scumbags, ripping off employees, loved ones the lot.  Keep on posting and we can get rid of these parasites for good

on ringing the first two numbers after office hours [8.pm] they both got through to funny sounding
answer machines [or fax]  
trying the last number after office hours it rang then recorded woman came on and said they were
very busy and that i was first in queue to be answered it rang for a while then another woman came on
[recorded voice] and told me they were still very busy and asked me to leave a message i tried all
three numbers again and all three lines were very busy THIS WAS 11.30PM [HOW ODD]

I've just been conned by them!  This time they approached as CLAIMS GATEWAY, CHAPMAN DHILLONS SOLICITORS. ALLIANCE LEGAL.  I managed to extract these names amongst various bits of paper I extracted from them.  They impersonated as representatives appointed by my insurers!

i did put markers on information I gave them. but I would like to know if anyone has had an experience like mine.  If so, how do you think they got your initial details to contact you.  In my case only two bodies knew of specific details, one of these is part of the gang who set them upon me.

Mrsshe I've also been conned by them recently and they also impersonated as representatives appointed by my insurers - giving Trevor & Baines - Chapman Dhillon - but I did not get a phone number for them it was withheld - but I reckon in light of your comments it is the same people!!!  In my case only my insurer had the full info.  Did you find out who was your guilty party?  I'm still working on it!  It would be great if you could get in touch as I wanna nail these scam artists to protect other people and you might have some more info to help me in my quest!!!

Could you just clarify what they have done?  What is their scam?  Something very dodgy is going on after an accident we have had.  Someone from (or possibly from) quickdox came around to our house (possibly) on behalf of Chapman and Dhillon and got a lot of personal information.  This was within the last few weeks.  That information has seemingly vanished and Chapman and Dhillon say they have not heard of us and have stopped using Quickdox.  That is the point we are at.  

Personally I don't trust any of them and want to know what to expect.  We have cctv of quickdox chap and phone numbers and it would be really useful to know what your experience of them is.  Thanks...

Mister Tuesday - fantastic!!  Well I believe we are seen as meal tickets and these people have fraudulently acquired our details, someone somewhere has broken the Data Protection Act by leaking our details (no doubt for a fee) - they told me they were acting on behalf of my motor insurer and named them specifically and I find out they are nothing of the sort and have lied to me continually especially when I cancelled the contract, when my insurer contacted me the very next day.  Yes I had a quickdox person round my house, and Chapman Dhillon said they have never heard of me too.  I did a subject access request to Quickdox and have found out this company who trades under numerous names had my details, so I've sent them a subject access request and am awaiting to hear from them.  Quickdox were very helpful.  My motor insurer know a few (3) people this happened too and I am appalled that they have done nothing to alert their customers, I really don't care that 1 in 7 people purchase their car insurance through them, I don't want any more customers to be affected!  I was hoping that anyone else who had the same experience - we might be able to share information from our experiences to help get to the bottom of this appalling practice!  Plus if I am not happy with what my motor insurer find out as well then I am going to take this to specialists who can deal in taking such people to court.  I had a call from these people initially back on 23 March.
