They called me today (said they where t-mobile), I said I was at work and can't talk. They offered me some upgrade deals.  I said again I was at work and cant talk.  They then texted me an email if i am interested. (was not!)

Everything everywhere is t-mobile / Orange. Sigh.

This number calls me to offer extra phones on my contract at a discounted price. Nice enough guy if not a little persistent.

It's a T-Mobile contract services team. If you're due for a renewal then they call you, but you can also be contacted if there is an issue with your account (overspending for example, where they can offer you a higher tariff to help reduce the monthly bills).

In my case it was for a renewal and the guy I spoke to was very helpful. I asked for a direct number to call back, but they don't have one, just 150 from the handset. He sent me an email confirming everything discussed on the phone and made appropriate notes on my account for other people to be able to help. Worth speaking to if you get someone the other end as helpful as I did!

I missed a call from this number today, so i looked it up. I dont have a contract, i am pay as you go, so i dont know why i would be receiving a call....

I did enter one of those 40440 (or whatever) text competitions, so maybe its that?

They called me again today. Today i answered and they hung up and never called back..... That sounds odd.....like they are trying to verify if my number is in use???

Guys, can you please reply.

They had my details name!! And so I trusted them with my address, so stupid of me.

Can they take anything out without something else? I am on pay as you go, can they rob me? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received a call from this number today and. after being told that they were offering me a 12 month plan with a great amount of minutes and texts for just £10 a month, I asked him to call me back at a later date (so I could do my research).
I then phone t-mobile and queried the number (08454122700) and they confirmed that it is a t-mobile number and the call was not a scam.

I keep getting calls from this person but im not answering as i do not know who it is , if anybody can help find the victim then great but for the moment im not going to answer.

had two calls today from this number and have no intention of answering it.

I got a call from this number today: T-Mobile trying to get me to switch from pay as you go to contract (obviously they are not making enough money from me). I'm pretty certain it is genuinely T-Mobile as they knew my name and details of my account and the follow-up text came from "T-Mobile".

I'll forgive this one as it wasn't really unsolicited (I'm their customer after all, so TPS doesn't apply). It's still a bit annoying to be interrupted at work by someone simply trying to get money out of me though.

have had 3 calls from this number in 24 hours, all of them dropped before I found out who it was. have saved the number to  'dont answer'

This is clearly definitely something to do with T-Mobile as I'm on them too but as a couple of people have mentioned I'm on pay as you go, so it's clearly not about contract renewals. I've received some text messages about offers recently so guessing it's something along those lines. Still annoying though!

This is a T-mobile company number upgrade or second line offer.

I called the number - " You were called by t-mobile, you do not have to take any further action!" I am indeed a t-mobile customer, but my contract isn't up till next August - this is Early November!!!

This is just another silly UK based call centre.  They are trying to sell you a mobile phone contract.  They have purchased their database from Yell.com so if you were running a small business or registered your home number with Yell - you will get a call from these people.

Just hang up after she says her name - that will wind her up.  Pick up your phone and ask what it is about, as soon as she mentions her name and that she wants to discuss your mobile phone contract - just hang up on the beatch.

I got the call, didn't answer, googled and found this page (and others).  No answer, and no message left by them.  Meh!

Oops... forgot to add, I'm a T-Mobile customer, my bill doesn't end for another year or so.  Nice try by them, but Faaaaail!
