- kirstyreally fed up with them now, i phoned a few months ago to say i wanted to end my contract and as it doesn't run out till Feb i am still with them. In the past 2 days i have had 26 CALLS!!! - again while i am work! they just dont get the message...absolutly ridiculus...
- Caller: T-Mobile
- David WeaverIt has now come to the point where I am seriously considering leaving T-Mobile beacuse of this number.
I have now called Customer Services about six times regarding this an each they time they "promise" that my account will be flagged NOT to receive T-Mobile marketing calls. It sometimes works for a day or two then starts all over again.
The most recent history of my complaints were in November, December and twice this month (January). I called Customer Services on Wednesday night (13th) after 08454 122750 called me about a dozen times. Once again I was told that every step to stop marketing calls had been taken and I was assured they would stop. Then yesterday - Thursday (14th) it called me no less than 20 times!!! It could have been more I lost count. Again, I phoned Customer Services and the explained the whole story once more and got the usual assurances. This time they even put me through to someone in their Direct Marketing people and the chap I spoke to was astounded by the number and frequency of calls I'd had. He also checked my account and said it was indeed all flagged up NOT to receive marketing calls. He went on to say that perhaps they had a "Systems Problem" (no kidding!) and he would speak to the relevant people etc and once again gave the usual assurances.
Well, I did think that by speaking to Direct Marketing would have the desired effect. But come today at around 10.40am, what number calls? Yes, you've guessed it! So far 5 times and counting - in fact it has even rang twice while I am typing this!
Most times I just "Reject" this number, but occasionally I'll answer it in order to give someone a piece of my mind - and of course, as others have commented, there's no caller on the other end, just silence. It's becuase the calls are computer generated and unless an operator is on hand to speak at the moment the computer has called you, there will just be silence followed by a disconnection.
I have tried explaing to T-Mobile people that someone needs to log on to this computer, find my number and remove it - but anything that comes outwith their script of "tick boxes" falls on deaf ears.
There are now 48 pages on "WhoCallsMe" regarding 08454 122750. You would think that SOMEONE in T-Mobile would have taken the hint and taken action.
Next step? I'm considering contacting the BBC Watchdog Programme!- Caller: T-Mobile
- NicolaThis number has just called me twice in the last 5 minutes and always on a Friday!! If you do answer you just get a silence!! What are they playing at!!
- JoI have had 15 Calls from them today, it's getting ridiculous now!
- karenI wish i was called 3 times!!!! try dealing with between 15 and todays count so far 21 :-( extremely fed up now and unfortunatly i don't have a number barring function on my phone ( if i have i can't find it ) I can't turn my phone of as i use it for business purposes........
- SueThis number rang twice before Christmas and now 24 times in the last 3 days. Had to add to automatic reject list as it's becoming harrassment and everytime there is no-one there. I'm with T Mobile as well, ring them and they have no knowledge, convenient for them!
- KIM08454122750 has called me 27 times in the last two days, it goes straight to my reject list.
- Markus3 today and counting. I've answered it before and they usually try to sell me mobile broadband or something I don't need. Never had the silent treatment as others have had.
I usually just ignore it, but when it gets really persistent I set the phone to divert the number straight to voicemail. Doesn't always work though, sometimes the calls still seem to get through.- Caller: T-Mobile
- I know I'm me...This number called me twice today. Answered the first one and they hung up on me. Didn't catch the second. If it's T-Mobile, I am with them...

- elliecheck ur bill everyone. just checked mine and have been charged 34p for every time i have answered these calls. know it doesnt sound like much but when there's phonecall after phonecall every day it mounts up. x
- MattBeen called 3 times within 20 min's!!!! Why call when I can't upgrade for another 5 months. If this is how the market them self’s won't stay with t-mobile.
- woodyhave received 5 calls in 2 days.when answered just get a beep and nothing else.I am with T-mobile.
- anoni used to work for tmobile on the outbound sales team. they outsource their telesales work so is why it doesnt come up on your screen as tmobile. their system automatically dials numbers and if all their operators are already on calls you then end up getting the silent line which they call abandoning. they arent allowed to abandon more than about 3% (i think) of calls so if you all complain to ofcom or other governing bodies you should be able to sort them out. if you call 150 from yopur handset you can specifically ask customer services to make sure you dont get any more marketing calls from them. hope this helps you
