One day late with one TV licence payment & I get a message asking me to call Sam Ford on some premium rate number.

Why not simply say this is T V Licencing.

Firstly, it's not a premium rate number - it's a local rate, which, if you call from your landline, will cost you the same as it wuld to ring your local area.

Seconly, this is NOT telesales or marketing and therefore an unsolicited call prohibited under the EC Regulations mentioned above - if you're in arrears and they're chasing payment, how is that a sales call?!

Keep getting this number on my phone. When I answer there is nobody there.

its tv licencing i owe a weeks payment of £7.00 and they keep calling me about it and its an automated message.

Got a call today whilst upstairs, when i checked the answering machine it sounded like someone had called me from a busy pub, and hung up' checked the number and ended up here! Checked my tv licence payments and I owe them £5 (wouldn't mind but this if for a licence that starts in january 2010!).. they've never texted me though even though i signed up.
Nice to see the licence fee is being spend on endless harassing people rather than making decent tv.

rang twice and left two voicemails, how do they expect us to pay our tv licence if we have to keep topping our phone up to listen to their stupid stupid voicemails

got a call from this number at 9.00pm tonight sounded like a busy call centre/pub said something but was mumbled call lasted just 6 seconds if it is tv licence i owe nothing as i called on monday to paymy arrears so this is annoying and a pain in the a**e

Had a call at 7:30pm from someone claiming to be from TV licencing.  We had made a payment earlier today that they couldn't find and had said the account was in a "shocking state".

We phoned up the real TV licence people who confirmed it was a dodgy call.  If you answer DO NOT give them any details.

hi - they  have just phoned me, was a week behind - told me I am automatically put onto an arrears list if the payment is no paid in the due date - they said they were sorry etc - f***kers.

why don't the system check the database before it automatically dials out - sweetFA on TV worth watching, WTF should we have to pay the dam thing.
