Calls up saying working in association with Google, they're really just a reseller.  Very rude "salesman" kept talking over me, don't answer questions. Tried to sell me google ads that I told him I didn't want. Had to hang up on him to shut him up.

PageHog called me today. Highly arrogant guy on the phone trying to sell advertising. Told him I'd spent my company advertising budget elsewhere and he told me I must have a narrow-minded view of the world if I didn't want to buy from PageHog. I told him where he could insert his own advertising. Put this number in your phone and avoid at all costs.

Yet another internet marketing firm from Manchester. I'm getting these calls at a rate of about one a week. All from Manchester. All under different names. All trying to sell me some magical means of getting listed on page one of google. All rude and pushy. Calls started simultaneously a couple of months back. If anyone knows where they're based let me know and I'll torch their call centre.

beware. they are now praying on dissapointed customers of bt customerstreet, of which there are many.

the rudeness of pagehog.com's reply here shows their true colours as a company.

saying they are working in asc with google, as they also said to me, is a blatant lie as far as i can tell.

anyone can do their own google ads - without paying for these middle men.

Tried Pagehog as I was assured by the sales guy that I would not be ripped off like other company I had used. Trialled for one month, five key phrases for £99 + VAT,not bad I thought, until I received a bill for the following month for £113.85 plus a £15 admin charge for sending me the invoice. NO CONTRACTS he said. The letter states that my account will contnue to accrue charges until the outstnding balance is settled. I do not have an account with them. IT WAS A ONE MONTH TRIAL!!! Beware!!!

My business would have taken around a year to make the business that i have over the last 8 weeks. no over charges

we purchased some SEO and keywords from these...

i was told that i would get 15 keywords under the company name etc and it would show on google sponsered links.

tried searching through all of the keywords but ovcourse 6 out of the 15 actually are showing...

i have tried to contact my account manager - left him about 4 voicemails 4 SMS and around 10 emails - i still await his response.

i think its ridiculous how these guys sell you this but actually infact do not provide the full service.

i have questions that need answered...

Had dealings with this company and the best thing I can say is stay away. They will talk you into trying them for a month then roll you over month after month without your knowledge then hit you with a massive bill.
Yet another company that leaches off small businesses!!

I don't mind people selling but the question pagehog needs to ask themselves do they ever find out what the needs of the person on the other end of the phone are!!

Very rude guy on the phone would not take no for an answer and kept asking me for credit card details..i would stay away from these and i will not be taking their calls again..they used this number 01619621770 and not always the 08....

free trial for one month and then you get a big bill which you're conned into through their dodgy agreements..stay clear!!

There are a lot of negative comments about 'page hog', you were the only one that could have been remotely positive; can you tell me how 'pagehog' have helped you? and if you were happy with the services provided.

Just took up the pagehog trial offer yesterday, 3 keywords for about £60 inc vat. Today i find out about google's adwords and feel so ripped off!! they told me all that working in association with google an i fell for it hook, line and sinker! with google ad words you can have as many keywords as u like and are in complete control of your budget, no clicks - no bill. They are lying, cheating cowboys! stay away people! im getting right on the blower to em now to cancel any further dealings!! john

I think if we all stand together and keep clicking on pagehog through google about 20 times per day we can blow them right out of the market as they have to pay google prob bout £1.00 per click :D lol
