It’s iinet , but comes up as a perth number , I couldn’t understand a word he was going on about so I asked him where he was calling from , he said South Africa,,, how sneaky is that !!!
Told him to ask a Aussie call centre to ring , they are pestering people to go over to NBN

this number is legitimate, it is from iinet customer service in Australia - they helped me upgrade to NBN after i enquired online

Just had call from that number which is Westnet about a query I had,very helpful they were.No problems at all.

its from a scammer dont give them anything. I just called iinet and they said the number isnt theirs so they wouldnt have called me from it!

This is definitely iinet although they did mention AAPT as I was with them when iinet bought them out.  She mentioned the NBN but when I said I wasn't interested at the moment she was really lovely about it and not pushy at all.  I have always received great service from iinet.

Definitely legit. I am an Internode customer. I was wary but they sent me a verification code which came through on the Internode SMS number

So many posts saying "It's Legit."  Usually people don't lookup and post about numbers they know are good, so the sheer number of "Legit" posts is suspicious. And even a "good" number can be spoofed.

I would be very careful about calls/texts from this number. Careful what info you confirm or offer.

When you ask for a call back for technical support. They call you back late and stay silent on the line. Terrible.

Caller ID Spoofing... The call I answered was very much like an Indian call center as it went silent waiting for one of them to pickup.

It's a very elaborate scam. I looked up Westnet/iinet separately, phoned them on the 1300 support number and they verfied that it (08 6263 6363) is NOT a number currently used by them for their business and customer relations/support etc. I suspect what is happening is that scammers have hacked into people's email accounts and then call people who've emailed complaints to iinet...

After calling iinet support and checking their records I have found out that 80% of the calls from this number have infarct been scammers faking this number by spoofing it.

I am absolutely fed up with the constant calls from this number. They have blocked my voice mail so many times. I can't get messages from anyone else. My number must be on redial or something. SOme days i get up to 15 calls. I've registered on Do Not Call register. If it keeps up I think I will need to speak to a TELCO to make a stronger complaint, I've even thought if seeing if this is a police matter.
