So what is the deal here with Liquid Expat mortgages? Are they a fraudulent company as I have been contacted by them? They are registered with the FSA and Companies House.

UK companies that scam are still registered with companies house until they are struck off.

UK finance companies that scam are on the FSA register until they are removed.

Neither registration implies that you will not be scammed.

You do not even have to prove your identity to register a company.

Always look at the directors' history and involvement with other companies.
