This is a Vodafone number. After speaking to Vodafone customer services (via 191) about setting up my mobile phone for use abroad, they sent me a text from this number with all the information they gave me whilst I was on the phone with them. Very helpful!

Go to http://www.localstore.co.uk/stores/75949/vodafone/ and you will see this listed as the number for all vodafone stores.
Having said that we have 5 alls to this number on our phone bill - and no, we do not have any vodafone mobiles.

You guys are a bunch of muppets if you say that this is a scam number. Look on Vodafone website at their contact details and there is the number!

scam and fake,do not call the number back,call 191 from a handset,speak to Vodafone and complain.

Well... i'm on T-mobile and just got a message from this number stating a replacement sim card has been sent out to my daughter... I dont have a daughter, nor do I/would I use Vodafone... so doesnt seem genuine to me.

This is definately Vodafone Customer Services. Got my first bill and noticed I was charged for calling this number, which has been pointed out in previous posts. Spoke to them and found out that by calling this number in full you will get charged, even when you are ringing from a Vodafone mobile.  Have to ring 191 to avoid getting charged.  They were very helpful and gave me a refund but this practice is very iffy in my view

My vodafone bill for August came up with a 19 minute 47 second call to this number which cost me over £3. I do not use my mobile to make long calls like this and I do not recognise the number. The only long call I made recently from my mobile was to Vodafone to query something about my bill!  It could have been 19 minutes as I was put on hold for a very long time. Are they running a scam??

I have apparently rung this 08700700191 twice and been charged £1.50 a go.
I do NOT remember ever calling this number and feel rather annoyed that I have been charged this amount onto my bill.
Vodafone say I rang it, normally I DO not ring numbers I do not know or regonise.

When I have typed in google vodaphone including the store I wanted the number of,it gave me this number. Afta readin ur comments may just ring 191 as its free.x

got a letter, it said thank you for setting up a direct debit with us,( with vodafone ) which i have not,and if your bank details are incorrect please give your correct bank details, yeah right,  none of my details was correct on the letter, i do already have an account with vodafone and they do have my correct details, obviously a scam, and the people on here suggesting otherwise are obviously scammers themselves

Called and stayed silent. I ended the call. I did not ask for this call and on checking I see it is to do with PPI. Can you stop this called please.

Because you need to phone 191 from your pay monthly phone which is free, the 08700700191 number is if you phone them from your land-line for pay monthly. and this number is not a scam number it is a contact number for pay monthly customer's i know i have used this number for yrs as i have been a Vodafone customer for 5 yrs it has not changed.

I got a text from this number saying " From Vodafone: We have amended your address as per your instructions today".

I thought the text was dodgy because Vodafone texts come through from "Vodafone". I went to a computer and logged into my Vodafone account and found my address had been changed. I am investigating now as I haven't moved so someone has managed to not only send me a text but have also got into the Vodafone site and changed my address....

I am really chocked. I just looked at my yesterday usage on Vodafone site and can see I was charged £2.05 for calling this number. I was calling Vodafone customer services. For that call much of the time was pressing numbers and waiting for somebody to answer. I know this section is about who calls me but still I thought I might tell you guys.

It's a number for Fredrickson, a collections agency. They sounded dodgy as [***] on the phone to me so i just told them to jog on. You get the call when you don't pay your bill, haha.
