Me to...noticed it a couple of months ago...£17.58..just cancelled direct debit..grrr who are these thief's??

After many phone calls and some investigation, I found out this is a fraud company called TMTI (Talk me through it), they also run a service called Gadget Helpline. When you sign up to a contract from places like E2Save, mobiles.co.uk etc you will be roped into this scheme unless you fully read the small print, and they will keep taking money until you cancel. The company owners are Crispin Thomas and Nigel Coward. This practise should be against the law

thankfully i saw that this DD had been set up before they were able to take any money and I've just tried to ring the number my bank gave me and it's saying the number is out of service. I am annoyed that they have set this DD up since I got my contract like 4 weeks ago and the damn thing hasn't been turned on yet so no way in hell am I paying anything !

Dammit, they have just taken £20.00 from me, How do I stop it?

Right got my bank to cancel DD and they reversed the funds. Rang this company up , had a right go as she tried to tell me it was when I took a contract out it March? Ermm last I checked we were in October!!! Disgraceful if you ask me. Anyways thanks for the company details people, really helped me out :-)

You CAN get through to TMTI Ltd (the Gadget Helpline) on 08444 994 600or 08444 772 995.  Mobiles .co.uk are 08444 543 0441 but do NOT push the button to query about the gadget helpline or you just get told to ring the gadget helpline and then cut off.

jst went to my bank 2day and relized i had a direct debit from TMTI LTD for £29.70, do not know who there where or why there taking money out my bank< until a came on this< think its a disgrace how ur phone company can pass on ur bank details 2 third partys without your permission.. DD has now been cancelled and the fraud department is looking into it.. so fingers crossed something gets done about it.

My son took out a contract with Carphone Warehouse using my account details (with my permission) and a month later a direct debit for this company based at The Big Blue Building in Somerset appeared on my bank statement.  Luckily I managed to cancel it in time but am extremely concerned that Carphone Warehouse can get away with passing on bank details to a third party!

i have just contacted theses as they have takein 23.94 out of my bank account witout my consent when i spoke to the lady i told her that i never got a contract phone i just got a contract sim card she told me this should not of been applied to me as its only for contract mobile fone. i  asked her why my details got sent over with out anybody telling me and was told that it must be a mistake and that i need to call mobiles.co.uk will be doing this fist thing monday morning and will be contacting police absolutley unnaceptable

Thanks for everyone on here who has helped other people like me, yes I to got scammed for £23.94 out of my account this morning. but looking at this site finding numbers etc that everyone else had done has really helped me. I spoke to the gadget helpline and they have cancelled my account which I didnt set up or know about, and contacted my bank and they will not be paying out any more money to these scammers. and apparently they will be sending me my money back within 10 working days hmmm, will keep you posted on that !!!!!!!!!!

Hi well I got my money back, it took time but I made sure all insurance policies and anything to do with gadget were cancelled, but I am never ever going to have another phone from Carphone Warehouse I am still discusted at the waythey gave my Bank details to a Third party. I have 2 years to run on my contract and then I am going back to O2, Directly at least they dont do underhand things they may be a bit more expensive per month, but at least I can TRUST THEM.And to anyone elsewho has been stung keep phoning and dont lose yor temper with the staff that answer, they dont realise they work for such a crap company

Ditto, £20.94 taken 4 times apparently. Only picked it up on the last one 21/11/12. My bank gave me details but I KNOW I did not set this one! Neither have I signed such mandate. I expect a full investigation and a full refund if my signature is not on the paper! Otherwise all hell will break loose for both my Bank & them!

They took £29.70 out of my account last February and August. I only just noticed it today and cancelled the direct debit with my bank. Is there any way I could get the money back!?

Contact your bank, tell them the story, the instruct them to do a "Charge Back".    Do it soon as there is a limited window of time within which it can be done.     If your Bank will not co-operate demand the name and contact details of their Area Manager and take it up with him urgently.

Checking through last months statement and noticed new direct debit. £23.94 taken on 23 Jan. Went to bank who gave me details. The number didn't exist! I doubt the Big Blue Building does either! Anyway, got onto the internet to see and found this site. Very useful, thanks to everyone who has contributed to it. Notified the bank who are onto it.

just checked my bank and 30 has come out.. this is stupid. is there anyway of me getting my money back.. theytook money out in august aswell!

Had exactly the same happen to us as Miss Money Penny, so glad this site is here, bank now on it!

Just checked my account and found that I had been paying for 2 contracts with TMTI at the - 1 since 2008!!! Even though they had me on contract they added me again when I bought a new phone from Mobiles.co.uk.

Asked why they hadn't noticed I already had an account and have been paying for 5 years (which I didn't know about and certainly didn';t want) they said the address was different. 1 said Flat 2, the other apartment 2 at same address. Unbelievable! I've spent over £200 on worthless crap from a company I didn't even know existed.
