got a text message from RMA asking me to ring them on 08707591159 quoting a reference number. I had a missing payment that MBNA have now sorted out with me so why are these people texting me??

I had a call from these guys before christmas telling me that they were engaged by Virin and thatI had to pay them somewhere around £320 there and then. This was a bit of a suprise to me as everything was up to date. I refused and called Virgin CC who told me that I had underpayed by £3 and that £3 was all that I had to pay at that point (which I did). The next day I got a call from RMA again demanding money.  I told them that I had resolved the matter directly with Virgin and they said fair enough. So, that should be an end to the matter except they have called again today. Time to declare war I think

I've just recieved a text message from RMA asking me to call 08707591159, after I missed last month's payment. I called MBNA and confirmed that the payment is on route to them, and asked them about RMA. RMA are automatically informed that you are overdue a payment once that payment is 4-5 days late. They are contracted by MBNA, and when I called them to let them know that I had confirmed the payment was on route, they made a note on my file, and hopefully that's the end of it.

i think the police should investigate and stop these agencies from harrassing us as it is absurd. you even feel unsecured.

got a voicemail to ring them back with a reference number, i rang them back, told them i was told to give a reference, then he asked me to confirm my name. i said i'd like to know who they are first, and he got really irate shouting down the phone at me that he will not tell me who they are until i give them my details, so i told him where to go and hung up. HOW RUDE!!! If it is MBNA they need to sort out who they get to talk to their customers, bloody disgrace!

MBNA tell lies they give your details to this company DO NOT TALK TO THEM

RMA are linked to Virgin and MBNA credit cards. they are the debt collection company they use, but once they have your number be prepared for approximately 15 phone calls a day from them. I have had to block their number on my phones.

yes i have been getting text messages from this scum bag company my advise to any one out there is to not to respond to any phone calls or text messages they try to intimidate people and that is breaking the law it is harresment

RMA this number has called my home number now about 20 times in the last 2 yrs i tell them gary ? dont live here...i am the new owner..they still keep ringing its doing my head in.....so today i talked such a load of crap for ages then said now dont ever call me again...but i bet he will.....

Just had a card from this company saying that they will be calling between 8am and 9pm on Friday - no explanation as to why they are calling - never heard of them - thank goodness for this site - I will be very cautious.

Got a call from them but since the person they wanted to talk to was out they said if I could take a message. They told me to call back, she left her name and number, and the number (which I took down correctly) goes to FedEx parcel tracking! She told me to call back on 011772833380 which is FedEx, yet she said she was calling from RMA. She called from 08707591159.

i have just had a text from a company telling me they work for RMA on behalf of mbna and are after my partner - have a reference number and a phone number. i called mbna and they confirmed that RMA do work on behalf of them.. still strange though the people at RMA - if i were you id go direct through MBNA. Safer and more secure.

I don't owe money anywhere and I've had a text with a ref no asking me to call RMA.  I went straight on the net cos I had no clue as to who they were and found this page.  I've also had emails asking for my bank details and I don't know who they're from either.  I discovered it was dodgy when they asked for details from a bank I don't even have an account with!!!  Is there nowhere we can report these people and get it stopped?  I'm totally disgusted that I even have to waste brain power thinking about it!!!!

RMA called again today can we speak to garry tuffy ...he dont live hear...call 8.43...iv rang them they say im not on the system.....over 1 yr now of calls ....i cant take any more....!!!!!

keeps calling my mum at work saying she is behind on her mbna card payments and over limit...wanted a debit card payment over the phone...have called 5-6 times in a morning..is upset and embarrased she is not behind with any payments checked with mbna they have never heard of them....THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO OUT OVER THE PHONE IF IN DOUBT ASK THEM TO WRITE TO U

This is legit, I missed a payment to my Virgin Credit Card (MBNA), they passed it to this company (Risk Managment) and they contacted me, they knoew exactly how much I was overdue, I confimed this by logging onto my online account for Virgin Money. I paid it and the amount I paid over the phone was posted as a transaction (credit) to my credit card. The monies have now been paid and i'm happy.

Honest mistake, just need to pay wat you owe!
