I've got the same messages twice from him. After seeing this thread, I've reported him to the Gardai. I think everyone should do the same.

Have been receiving nuisance calls and text messages from this number.  Immediately reporting to gardai to stop this 'liam'.

i got a missed call from a private number today, he hung up as soon as i answered but immediately i gota text from 'Liam' asking what was i up ta?!
Didnt recognise the number so i replied asking who it was. got a message telling me it was Liam and asking was i not Sara? he also asked did i not want €20 credit.
I replied telling him he'd the wrong number, said goodbye and yet he continued to text... thankfully he has left me along for the last hour but if it continues I'm going to the guards tomorrow, wont be able to stand it if this has been happening to some of you for so long now

Mayb you are busy? What ya doing? Nothing agressive but nevertheless unwanted. Dont give my number out, and have narrowed it down to an ad I placed on Daft. I have now removed my number and blocked his access to mine. Its creepy.

Have received texts from "Liam" from  this number and then subsequent calls from private number since 2010.
Yesterday got text yesterday saying "SORRY WHO IS THIS?" from another number 0876301013.    I thought it related to a previous wrong text from a friend and I texted back my name. Then I got a call at around 2am from private number. I didn't answer it. This is the same pattern as texts previously received from a "Liam"  on 0870994870. Has this person now changed his/her number but kept to the same pattern?

I have been receiving messages from 0870994870.  It started with a random private no. call.  This was obviously to see if I was female.  The text was as if it was a wrong no from Liam about credit.  A woman named Sara is also mentioned.  It starts off friendly and then it turns into sex and a demand for a telephone sex conversation.  This Liam puts you off guard because he does send a pic of a man (not sure if it is him).  He claims to be from Cavan - Virginia and he is 31 years old.
Im not sure how I got into it other than I was intrigued and flattered.  This man is a sham ... be careful, be warned.
It was my friend who googled his no. to see if there was anything about him.
It seems Liam is a very busy man.
I evenually got him to ring me, pretended to be going along with his game.  Told him to stand nake at the window and not to move for 5 minutes as the Garda should be with him soon.  He hung up the minute he realised the game was up.
My next move is to contact the Garda.

Same had private number call 1 hour before this number called , The number i was called on was my work number on a Saturday and iv never posted it online or any site , so i figure its just random for me, ill contact my operator and his then report the number , they will take it more seriously than the gards !

This number has been ringing and textin me also. Whats it about? Exact same script... its Liam, is this sara, and the credit stuff aswell. Then apologising for texting.. Should I report it or does it stop? My number is on an internet ad also.

I googled the number and then found this thread. In the meantime I got a text.

"Hi U at much?"

I replied "who is this"

I got back "Hi, Its liam. This not sara? Thought u wanted €20 credit?"

I am just going to ignore it now ...

Hi keep getting calls from that number its blocked then i get messages from that number, its getting more frequent, havent reported it

Hi all and thanks for the posts about this Liam chap from Cavan my number is on done-deal and I would imagine that is where he got my number from I texted him my husband was a special branch detective and is running his number with the station - that was the end of the silly text messages! that he was down and needed someone to chat to, sicko!!

Have this number on my what's app and bingo, the weirdo picture comes up, what a dumbo 😆😆

I got a text from this number too a while ago. i had an ad on Done Deal. I never replied or anything because I just had a feeling about it. I never answer private number calls so he must have just been hoping I was female.
Glad I thought to google it and that you all took the time to warn others. Blocking it now.

This person text me earlier with loads of wink faces claiming we met on a dating site I laughed and said good luck with that never been me and they said sorry and starting continuing the message with tongue faces claiming they are Darren. Not replying anymore, creep!!!!
