Well, the stories I could tell about Webworks Internet.

Ged pissing in a bottle of wine and one of his staff mistakenly drinking it. The card details kept on paper in an unlocked filing cabinet. The racial abuse of staff members by management.

It's like a mad house and I know because I worked there for quite a few months.

Don't get me wrong, if you're extremely lucky enough to get the right account manager it may be possible to get a decent service. But of the dozens of staff there you'll only find 4 or 5 genuinely good eggs.

I once saw someone take card details and put them in a drawer. Those details were then used again when the slaes lady was close to hitting her target on a friday afternoon.

We would regularly take calls from trading standards as certain staff would pretend to be calling from The Good Garage Scheme/UKCP/Gas safe register/FSB in order to trick people into thinking they were getting a good offer.

Oh and if you're trying to get hold of Mr Ged Brogan I do believe he can be reached on 07515 851128. Well actually I know for fact he can because I've just been given that number by an unhappy employee of his.

I really don't know why these ex staff members are complaining. It was a great company to work for. You get paid for doing nothing, relax and kick back throughout the working day, few calls here and there, listen to music, good office banter, sweets and hot and soft drinks on tap. The real cherry on top was being able to go onto social networking sites and You Tube most parts of the day. If you want to line your pockets for doing nothing, please apply. If you have morals and don't want to rob decent hard working individuals, then sadly this place ain't for you.

On a final note, the floor manager is a total plebe. No business acumen whatsoever and he too is also paid for doing nothing, perks of his job is he gets to flirt with the female staff members. Surfaces periodically and walks about to justify his fat wage packet.

Steer clear! The worst company. There's a couple of ok ones but most of the people who work there arr so frightened of Gerard brogan the owner that they put up with his crap. To anyone thinking of buying from them - don't and anyone after a job? You'll be there 2 weeks then sacked!

Where to start. Got a call, very nice young lady telling me I was going to lose my website.because my current company had gone bust. Paid my money and waited. In the meantime I did my research and discovered its a scam! My existing company have not gone bust. Asked for my money back to be told no way! Researched further to discover all these complaints. Sounds like the whole company are crooks.

Webbworks scamworks £100 realy good work on a webbpage then said another  £100 for a domain name after  about a month  then tell me another  £400 sell me a webb browser or something

I paid £120 to have a website set up, they said they would take £99.  I was then pestered for more and more money for various things.  I became suspicious and found these reviews.  I phoned Ged and he alleged he was a sleeping Director and was not aware.  I was phoned by someone at the company and they alleged the revies were from digruntled ex-emloyees.  However this does not explain the raft of complaints from customers on Martins Money Tips,  I have asked for my money back, but I am not holding my breath.

I don't know - I would advise to cancel your card - and ask bank to have your card watched as they may set up something which can take money even if card cancelled ( look on Martins Money Tips).  e-mail them to send you a cheque for outstanding moneys with your address, saying you are not prepared to discuss it any further, as they will try to call you to say they are legit.  Report them to police, trading standards and watchdog.  And finally say they have a week to sen you your money otherwise you will take them to small claims court.  All you do is go down and pick up a form

Not true, he is soul director. He has set up another company called Easyweb too. They have a small office in collingwood buildings, newcastle.

Tim Moor is the office manager but is now running the Easyweb office in newcastle instead. GED knows he has too many unhappy customers & webworks is failing so he is moving his business to Easyweb.

Ged is the sole director & knows everything that goes on. Every little scam. He brags round the office that we are making him £50,000 a week some weeks!

I dont like my dad and neither of my siblingd does hes an evil evil man and im sure if you all want justice the best thing to do is ring the police and seek justice!
