08925 just called me, whats the point in them calling you when u pick up they hang up? Its a good thing I know now they are a scam...

Just had a call from The Survey Group. Have reported it to TPS. That address above though is just an accomodation office. Our calls (and we have had many over the last few days) definitely sounded as though they came from abroad and come up on caller ID as International.
Have looked up the company on the net and they appear to be US based.

When I answered phone there was a long period of silence then a click. I put the phone down as I thought it was one of those rerecorded messages. The number came up as 08925 which I thought was strange. Then I read about the Visa scam so I am now on my guard.

I only recently demanded BT change my number as I paid for a new line to be installed when I moved here but they obviously gave me an existing number that wasn't ex-directory as I wanted.

Until the last couple of days I had no scam calls - previously I was getting lots from these irritant companies but tonight they rang back for the third time and I didn't answer so I looked up the number on Google.

They must generate random numbers because I haven't given mine out online (I always provide a fake number if one is required).

Pain in the backside.  I really get cross with these odious leeches - they phone morning, noon and night in spite of getting no answer.  You'd think they would give up.  I may have to go to BT again and get them blocked - I am sure that is an option.

Had another call today. Looks like this is going to be a weekly nuisance call. Why doesn't anyone put a stop to these?

sick of numerous international calls that are recordings, i hang up immediately. however tonite i had a call from 08925 who ask for a previous tenant, i am so pissed off with this type of call I said " if you called 3 years ago you could have spoken to her [***] off" imagine my astonishment when the phone rang again and I gotr told to "[***] off" they cant even be proffessional when ripping you off lol

3 Calls have been made so far each afternoon this week, with an invitation to press 3 for further information.

Just got a call from that number - no one on the line, just silent. Found this site which has solved the mystery!

I had a call from someone from about a "survey". He would not answer when I asked him where he had got my details from, so I told him to remove my name and number from their records. He just kept asking "why". He said they did not have supervisors when I demanded to be connected to one. In the end, lost it, told him to pxxs off and put the phone down!  I used 1471 to get the 08925 number.
