Its the tv shopping channel Ideal World / ideal Home.

Are you sure you or someone not ordered something from them?

I got 2 calls on my BT phone bill totalling £2.82, wondered what it was (thought it was a mistake), did a search on the internet and came up with this site. What others have said is correct ie its Ideal World.

call went to answer phone but still got charged £1.95 on my bill

call went to answer phone but still got charged £1.95 on my bill

I had a call froma premium number 09056484848 and I like to know the name of the owner.

Is this number from a business company?

This number has appeared on my mobile and land line bills. How can this happen when no-one rings out ??

idea world 11.21mins from my mobile total cost £9.45 never will i you this company again

I to had this number on my bill for over a £1.00.   Asked all members of the family and then found it was me ordering for the first time in years from Ideal World.   Never again and I have put in a complaint to them direct.   They have a special telephone number for such complaints and promise to call back in 5 days.   They never used to be such rogues when they first opened up.,

09056 484848 is the telephone number for the home shopping IDEAL WORLD, just turned the tv on to verify and it checks out.  You can also see them online www.idealworld.tv ~ when you call them it costs you 20p per minute plus network charges.  Hope this helps.

Phone Bill shows 2 calls 30 July 11:39 for 2 Mins = 59p. then 11:40 for 7 mins = 1.71.
Don't know WHO they are!

i have a charge of £2.48 for a call to this number it almost caused an argument .everybody denied it .it turnt out to be my WIFE and a bloody shopping chanel IDEAL WORLD wat a rip off

I've been caught out by this.  Does anyone know how I can claim my money back  now from Ideal World shopping channel?
I'll never use them again.

If you used the automated order line to order goods then you cannot get your money back. Unfortunately, you chose to use that service.  This 09 number is not as expensive as a lot of premium rate numbers which cost up to £1.50 per minute.  Is there any sort of warning on screen about the cost of the call?

I don't like the fact that Ideal World keep you on the phone after you have made your order or inquires
asking silly questions or trying to get you into some stupid monthly holiday scheme, and keep talking just to run up your phone bill. I think their customer service operators or Ideal World have an arrangement with the phone company they use.

just had my mobile phone bill - charged over £8.00 for a call to this number.  I don't make calls from my mobile! Someone should get them stopped.

Ordered something for Ideal World, guy with broken English kept me talking.I asked if it was a premium rate call and was told it was not. Just got phone bill in £5.05 for call. Total rip off. Will never use them again.

Had a charge of £9.06 for 8 min call, what a rip off from IDEAL WORLD, feel discussted.

This number appeared on my bill £11.59 for 11 minutes. I dont know who it is and I didnt ring it! EE have refunded the cost.

As you would have seen if you had read any of the other posts on here, this is the number for the Ideal World Shopping Channel..  Has anyione in your house been ordering?

Ideal home £3.54 and yes I called them and the operator tried flogging me extras trying to get off the phone was awful ... Never again lesson learnt.
