Report a phone call from 09064034342 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- James CThis number is associated with Martin Bishop Racing, this is part of their text spam service that asks you to call for racing tips, I have never given anyone my information with permission to share or contact me with any racing tipster services, I do not gamble, I receive a text every couple of days, I have tried replying with stop, I have filled in a form on the martin bishop site asking for them to stop, I am registered with TPS who do not currently cover text service, very very very frustrating to try and get this prig to stop texting, I am after a physical address so I can take this spammer to court for wasting my time to date to try and get this to stop.
- Caller: Martin Bishop Racing
- Call type: Text message
- Martin Bishop RacingI block their messages everyday. And everyday they send from another number.
It's so bad that I am going to change my number.
Never ever phone this service for racing tips. - Steve TIf anyone has any info on Martin Bishop I would be very grateful to learn about how I can contact him. I am really pissed off with his unsolicited text messages.
- nicki just tried this:

I'll let you know if it works.- Caller: martin bishop racing

- Chris| 2 repliesIt's annoying as hell. I've tried the Stop message, and will see if it works.
But this company does not have an address, and suspiciously, the martinbishopracing.co.uk domain is owned by "Martin Bishop" himself who has elected to have his address removed from the whois database because he is a "non-trading individual who has opted to have their address omitted from the WHOIS service."
But he clearly trades.... - nick replies to ChrisMy STOP didn't work, and I can't find a registered company under that name either.
I might try calling them from my office and see if I can get through to somebody. Then I can submit a complaint:
http://www.ico.gov.uk/complaints/privacy_and_electronic_communications.aspx - nickI've just done a search for 'SMS filter' apps for my Android phone and there are loads of them that can block text messages by scanning the contents for keywords. I'll try some of them out.
They have hundreds of thousands of downloads with good reviews. Sounds promising. - TC2 replies to Chrishttp://www.martinbishopracing.co.uk/terms-and-conditions-of-busine/
says that "Martin Bishop Racing Limited is located at Suite 31 Don House, 30-38 Main Street, Gibraltar" - Martin Bishop| 12 repliesHi all,
I'm Martin Bishop and I can easily resolve these issues for you. I do send daily updates to numbers that have opted in through my website, and these can be easily stopped. I am suprised to see in James C's original post that he says he did not provide permission. In all cases, the only numbers I send texts to are people who have opted in through my website or called my daily information line.
There are easy opt out processes in place which will stop all messages immediately, and if these have failed at all I am more than willing to resolve these for you.
Firstly, if you reply to any text message received with 'STOP' then your number will be automatically deleted from my system (this is the cost of 1 standard rate text message, and not a premium rate service).
If for some reason that does not work (which it will), and you would prefer confirmation from me about any matter, then please feel free to email or phone me, and I will resolve any enquiries as quickly as possible for you.
Details are:
Email: martin at martinbishopracing.co.uk
Phone: 08444994539
Alternatively you can get in touch through my website contact form:

I hope this helps and would be happy to resolve any issues anyone is having.
Martin Bishop. - PaulNow I've taken a look at your website I remember having a free trial with you last year. Hope it's still going well, Cheers, Paul

- Dave MI had to text back STOP, but it worked.
- nick replies to Martin Bishop| 2 repliesMartin - i'm amazed that you actually seem to exist. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and try replying with STOP to the texts I am getting and see if that works.
I recommend you amend your site FAQs though because this short number unsubscribe doesn't work:
http://www.martinbishopracing.co.uk/faqs/the- ... ving-texts.html
Also, I definitely never signed-up for anything or called your information line, so I don't know how you got my number. Although I suppose I can't prove that somebody else didn't submit it.
Whilst you are here though, maybe you could answer another question which your FAQs don't address adequately in my opinion:

If you can pick winners reliably enough, then why don't you open a Betfair account (where there are no betting limits) and watch the money roll in? You would literally be the worlds richest man. - Nick replies to nick| 1 replyApologies for the out of date information on the website, which is being updated in the New Year. We stopped using the short code mentioned, so you simply have to reply STOP to any text message received. This is an automated system. I have updated the FAQ on the website to reflect this:
http://www.martinbishopracing.co.uk/faqs/text ... s-from-you.html
With regards to your other question, I do have a Betfair account, and you will notice the price contracting on all my selections at some point through the day. However markets adjust to conditions, and if you backed everyone of my selections at SP then you would struggle to make a profit. If you back everyone of my selections at 11am daily when I release my information you will be making a lot more profit before the prices contract.
There is very little market on Betfair at 11am each day, when the prices with the bookmakers are bigger. I will often take as much of a price as I can until I believe the selection is no longer value. I might back something at 6/1 but wouldn't at 4/1. Unfortunately with Betfair I would be able to get a tiny bet matched at the bigger price, and then when trading on the race starts a few minutes before the off there is no value left.
If one of my selections drifts on course (and Betfair), I will very often have a topup bet as there is increased value (unless for a particular reason such as a horse getting lose or running badly to post, etc.).
Hope this helps on both points. - Martin Bishop replies to NickApologies for the out of date information on the website, which is being updated in the New Year. What an annoying prig, I never share my data so what this c@ck muncher is doing is illegal- Caller: Martin Bishop
- Martin Bishop replies to james CJames, you will probably find that you never unsubscribed properly in the first place. It is really easy if you just follow the post above. I remove all numbers as soon as I am informed that you want the texts to stop.
- SammieI have never visited this site or any other racing site for that matter. I have sent a STOP message which cost me 33p, NOT the cost of a standard message & I'm still receiving these unsolicited texts.
I would like to know how I have allegedly opted in to this as the constant messages are beginning to feel like harrassment- Caller: Martin Bishop
