- Annoyed ConsumerNever answer unknown number then certainly look them up like 5+ years of users have here. Autodialer programmers plug this number in so they dont have too be creative and put anything else in. Most of these scammers are not related and use the same spoofed number.
Best practices: Do not answer, do not give any info out voluntarily, and don't panic is they know anything about you. They simply bought some data that included some personal information about you. All phones have the ability to block numbers now - Use it - you aren't missing anything except more scams.- Caller: Scam
- BenI received a call from +1-000-000 United States. A woman said it was a follow up call about a problem with my computer. I said I didn’t have a problem, then she said sh would send m an email to help me “back up” my files on s thumb drive so if I ever lost everything, I would be able to get it all back. Sounded fishy an her accent sounded like she was from a mid-eastern country. I am so sick of all these scam calls an wish the government could catch them all.
