Keep receiving ph# 100 000 0000. Answered phone .Recorded message asked me to verify my name. Call time 11.07 am 0n Aug 9 08. Any other receiving this type of calls?

1000 000 0000 call 0n my caller ID was answered by me.  When answered by me ,I received a recorded message asking me to verify my name . Unfortunately ,I did. Two days latter I received a call from my credit card company informing me that there were some questionable charges on my acct. These carges were in excess of 1000.00 dollars. These charges were totally unauthorized by me. I suspect that the 1000 000 0000 call had something to do with this.  This shoulld be a warning to all.

Two times this day a phone call from  1-000-000-000!!

So I got a random text about half and hour ago, no missed call though from the number 1000000000, in the message body it said 911. Who wants me to call 911?

I'm a little scared!

I keep getting calls from this number, sometimes 2-3 times an evening...  i never pick up because i pay for the minute and don't answer unknown numbers.  it would be nice to block it so i don't have to deal with a ringing phone.

i got four texts from this number,the first one said "187187187" i got scared because that means murder,this happend because someone kept on calling private so i turned of my phone. i turn it back on and that messege comes...im like WTF...then the other comes with this number with an area code...and the other two had my ex boyfriends number as a messge...i didnt call him but i called the first number...this chick answered but she said she didnt know me...and nor did i...im thinking its this number that lets u have numbers that call u private? or ive heard people say its from ur voicemail...

I got a text and it gave me the number 2818318441

Sometimes when you call someone and it goes to voicemail, you hear the "To page this person, press 5 now". Well my dad is a moron and always 'pages' me. When he does it texts his phone number to me from 10000000000. The strange thing, I frequently get calls from that number also, and no one is there when I answer...

Just got a phone call from this number. I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. Whoever's on the other end is going to be real disappointed. I don't have kids (I can't be charged for child custody.)

One more thing:I am physically disabled on a disability pension. (This computer is a used clunker bought with tax refund money. It allows me to write legibly and is one of my few contacts with the outside world and the few friends I have. My chances of getting a credit card are laughable at best. Yet for quite some time, I've been getting these phone calls from this same supposed credit card company that says "their records" state that I am paying too much interest. I get these calls on a regular basis.

I suffer from chronic pain and depression and I have other medical issues on the burner, three medical appointments, including one serious one involving scoliosis, which looks like it's fast getting worse. My own parents just tried to railroad me into an institution by trying to have me declared incompentant. (They wrote that they could not be my parents unless I were in an institution). They told me I was out of the family when I didn't go there of my own "free will". (They were very emotionally abusive to me growing up.)I tried reconciling with them and turned to them when I was diagnosed with chronic pain, desperate. They deliberately took advangtage of my chronic pain and then told a care team manager a week after I gave them power of attorney. The manager then told me.

My chronic pain is worsened by emotional upset. Pain levels through the roof as I write this.

I need more problems like I need a case of bubonic plague. I wish (100)000-000 would pick on someone his own size and that goes for this alleged credit card company too.

Ok, whoever this is, they sent me THIRTY.  FOUR.  TEXT MESSAGES.

In two days.  All of them had my friend's phone number in the message- a few hours later, my friend got five text messages with a crude picture attached.  I'm seriously miffed about this.

I received this call on my land line today. You were to answer 10 questions and in return win a trip to the Bahamas. 1st question, your sex. 2nd, if you had cable or a dish or other. 3rd, whether or not you owned your home. 4th, if you prefered to use you credit card, debit card, or cheque regularly... That would be when I hung up! Too personal.

I don't know who these ba$tards are, but they call me at least four times a day and then I go right on to hold if I try to talk to anyone.  They do not leave any messages on my voicemail so I have no way to identify who they are.

I added the number to my cell phone address book and assigned a "mute" ring tone to just that number.  That way they can now call me all they want, but the phone will not ring for that number and I don't have to worry about missing other calls I want to get.

I just dont answer!

Just got a call from this number............ 1-000-000-0000.
Before it was just 000-000-0000. Haven't had a call from a weird number like that in a while, guess they figured they'd try again?

And when I would get calls from the 000-000-0000 number, it would call 9-20 times a day for weeks on end. Nothing you can do about it. No number to trace.

Two calls to my cellphone within a half hour, no caller ID. I didn't try to answer or call back, seen this kind of nonsense all too often.

I got a call from this number last night and I didn't answer because I've heard stories where people call from weird numbers and charge you like a TON of money if you answer it.. So i figured if they wanted something really bad they would leave a message...
They called again tonight I still didn't answer..
Should I be worried?

Gota a call on my cell from 1-000-000-0000. Recorded message starting with "This is your captain speaking." And this is after I put both my #s on the national do not call list. Anybody know what company uses this outgoing message so I can file a complaint?

Apparently we won a cruise to nassau... If it true then we will get a call in 48hrs-72hrs. I think its a bunch of bull. They gave us a site to go to and sign in using our number and we did. we actually got a record of it there and saved it. Who knows.

Ugh! I've received several calls on my cell from the following number: +1000000000. They never leave a message and they never say anything if when you do answer. I'm calling my provider to see if I can get it blocked!! I live in Ottawa and I'm with Fido Cellular. Does anyone know who or what's responsible for these calls? Is it different companies using a scrambling device? Aaarrrg!
