I have gotten about 15 text messages from this number and it keeps messaging me the same number....I tried to call the number and it just says the number is not a valid phone number.

Who the hell is this??? and why are they calling people. This number is synonomous with hunger and starvation.....look it up. These people ars scaming nd why isn't it stopped. I'm  on the no call list so hoe can they call????

this number keeps calling the office no one talks but keeps calling back all day long

Got a text from this number with a number that is a land line in my area code. I don't know what the number is, and can't find anything with a reverse lookup other than it is a line from SouthWestern Bell.

i'VE been getting this number calling me on my lan line 2-4 times per day, no message, i just don't answer. maybe its some sort of tap?

I got the same thing. This number only calls me once a week, I guess I should feel lucky after reading some of the other replies. Ive blocked this number and it still calls, and FIDO says they cannot track the number.

This is so freaken weird!!!! I just satrted getting calls from 1-000-0000 last week at my job. ( which i get paid off the books, so how does anyone know i work there?) They even called my mother in laws house (whose # is unlisted)and she said every time she"d answer they'd just hang up and that finally on Saturday the 17th, they asked for me (it was a man) and when she said i dont live there that they are very pissed and want to help me with a debt i owe. The thing is i dont owe any debts! They keep calling my job & when i answer they dont say anything. Who is this? i told my manager & she told me shes been receiving texts from the same # & when we try 2 call it just says the Verizon wireless cannot be reached. Is this a coincidence? What the hell is going on??!!!!

I got a call from this number a few mins ago, as soon as I picked up this lady came on and asked to speak with me, because of the number i freaked out and said who?? Who is this? She said GEC Services and then hung up on me. This is wierd! I looked up GEC Services but theirs alot of companies by that name....WIERD!

I got a text today from 1-000-000-0000 containing a number: 610-772-****, I'll be calling that number soon. I also received a number from a call at the around the same time which came up as "Withheld".

keep getting calls to this number even tho i'm on the "Do Not Call List" in canada...  In any case...at this particular number, i always get a pre-recorded msg like this (Big Horn Sound) "Hello, this is your captain speaking.." etc.  I actually listened to the whole msg once since i got so fed up..they claim to be a survey company where they will give you 2 free cruise tickets in exchange for your answers to a survey.  so fine, i completed the questionnaire..but in the end they said.."thank you.  We will now forward your call to an operator so you can give them your full information for mailing"  ...yeeeaaaaahhh riiight lol.  My advice.  DO NOT answer any of these calls.

I get calls from this number several times a week, and sometimes several times a day.  I no longer pick up the phone as I have call display and identify these calls.  They are a nuisance.

how do we stop this number from calling

i have been getting callls from the number +10000000000, i have never answered it cuz i just know its something wrong. but i do have a theory on why this may b happening, and if anyone out there knows how to check into it, please do. i think with msn and facebook u can have messages sent to ur cell phone, i just wonder if that has anything to do with anything, im just  a guy who thinks about things like that, there is a conspiracy going on out there, and im just presenting mine, wich i dont think is really all that out there

My uncle just called me from his LA # and im in bed so didnt answer and right after I hit ignore this 1000000000 # texted me with the text being my uncles #. Its a little odd to me, but apparently happens alot. Just thought maybe someone knew what the deal is

I hav gotten it to and so have my friends. I've tried to figure it out. once I got it and it siad my friend's number. I called her and asked if it was her but she said no. I'm about to call the police I'm so mad!

I keep getting calls from 1000000000 like once to twice a day.  I NEVER answer.  But I'd love it to stop!

I've been getting a call from this for past three months. Finally, I complain to my cell phone company Fido. Who refuse to answer me, nor will tell the real number. They simply said "Talk to FCC" who ever the hell they are. I explained to them I am registered on "DO NOT CALL LIST".

Well last week I got the call again when I was on a bus -- I decided to answer all them stupid question -- wrong answer of course. Finally got some mean old man. I told him to remove my number, and that was it.

Still, I think our celleur company should've helped me. They sucks. I'll switch to anotehr company once my contract is over.

Our consumer organization got a peculiar complaint. An Indian subscriber with international roaming facility was in New York in the USA. On returning to India, the subscriber was billed for a call to 10000000000 (1 followed by 10 zeros) with a duration of nearly 2 hours - THIS CALL WAS NEVER MADE BY THE SUBSCRIBER. Now there is a dispute about the payment.

these numbers are usually used by VoIP or Voice Over Internet Protocol services such as Skype and are virtually impossible to trace as the calls are actually orginating from an IP address, then being converted to a sort of phone number.  So in till there are law requiring companies like Skype to force users infomation to be transimitted to call ID, I'm afriad we will just have to live with it.

I got a txt from this number today... as it turns out my bill was due today - however, the credit card on file for auto-pay had expired and I had forgotten to update the auto-pay.  This was the reason for the SMS text message - the number provided was a local billing office.
