1002

Started receiveing call from 1002 today. They asked for someone and I told them it was the wrong number, so he asked if he could have my name....I told him NO and hung up. He immediately called back twice but I wouldn't answer. Very strong accent and sounds like he is asking for "Greeban"????

I keep getting calls from 1002. I never answer and they never leave a message. I'm on the do not call list. I don't know how they got my number. I've gotten calls from other numbers too. There's got to be a way to stop them.

I am getting tired of these people always calling me!!!!!!!!!! so unnecessary... i keep telling them not to call back... Thanks

I have no idea who called. Received this phone call at 10:17 onAugust 8th.

i keep on getting this +1002 on both home phone and cell phone. i suppose it was an indian kinda accent. one time they told me i got accepted for a grant that i dont need to go to school and i could use the cash for whatever purpose. they transfer me to another person but the tone in te voice it sounded like the same person. i got told i was ignorant because i just told them a white lie i had to go to the bathroom. then they started to call me every 20  minutes on both phone. i gave up i just shut off my phone for that day. they keep on calling me. i won't answer  my phone

Cell phone.  There are applications that you can install (Android and I assume iphone) that can block these calls.

Search for Blacklist or firewall in either the Android Market or the iPhone App Market.

i've had 4-5 calls. i ignore most of them, but when i did answer they said they wanted to speak to nancy, and when i said this is nancy there was no response.

I keep getting calls from +1002 & the call history also lists it as 8888210022. I refuse to answer the calls. How can they be stopped?!

They probably got your name from your outgoing answering machine message from their call before. They have no access to your personal answering machine and cannot retrieve your incoming messages.

Yeah I've been plagued by the +1002 number as well.  They've been calling me for just over a month now.  At first, I was weirded out by the number itself and ignored the calls. Like everyone else, they never left a voicemail. After a while, i decided to answer assuming that theyd stop if i asked to be removed from their list.  As with so many of the others, it was a man with an Indian accent claiming to be from College Search where they would match me with great schools and scholarships.  As I was asking to be removed from their list, he hung up on me.  The calls kept comming and I tried ignoring them again.  However, this time, they called me on the wrong day.  I was stressed out with school and finances and so I picked up the phone to tell them off.  it was a different guy, but still had an Indian accent.  He gave me the same mumbo jumbo about being from College Search and what not.  I once again told him that since I was already enrolled in a great school,  was not in need of any services.  he told me he understood but then started asking me a bunch of really personal questions like, "how old are you?" and "do you have a boyfriend?" I asked him why he wanted to know these things about me and he replied, "because I like the sound of your voice." I answered him but told him i didnt know who he was or why he was calling but I wanted it to stop.  he kept urging me to talk to him telling me that it was his job and to "stop blushing." I told him: "i'm not charmed in the least by you using your shady job as an excuse to pick up girls" ...then I heard some woman yelling in the background, "HEY WHATS GOING ON?" the the phone was shuffled around...then another man answered, also with an Indian accent, he then introduced himself and then  kept trying to talk me into becomming a pron star for his movie, despite me consistenly declining.  He asked me if i liked having sex and wanted $2000 then he started asking for pictures of me and about my figure...i eventually hung up......WTFFFFFFFF?

I keep getting a call from 1002. It is getting me in trouble. I work for the army, and I cannot answer these calls every five minutes. However, I would like to be able to leave my phone on since I have a family at home with no vehicles for emergencies. Can you help?

They keep asking for a guy named Rodrigo. Every. Damn. Time. I. Am. Not. Rodrigo. Then they say its not caller-specific. Screw your outsourcing.

Was called by this number (1002) on 08/18/11 and 08/19/11. Hangs up before I can answer.

I keep getting a call from 1002 and it is annoying

Got a call yesterday from 1002 and answered thinking it was a Verizon number. Some woman with a very thick Indian accent started asking me questions about grants and college and told me she was with a company called College Now. Then I played along a bit. Got 'transferred' to an Indian Guy (with no dial tone or pause whatsoever) he told me that his supervisor was going to need to ask me a few questions and told me the questions and told me what to say. Then he told me to hold for him to transfer me to his supervisor, there was a dial tone *shock*, but, he was talking to me while the line was ringing. So I hung up. Haha. Got a call back 3 or 4 times within the hour. I actually got 1 voicemail. But it was a recording of my voicemail... That creeped me out.

I keep getting calls from this f-in terrorist. 1002... can't track this number it's a scam for college tuition. They sit in a call center & harass all of us. I told 5 people stop calling all with the same accent. They keep asking for my boyfriend I told them he dead I told you he's dead!!! (he's not dead) but then the guy says f your mother your father & your dead boyfriend. Oh real nice f-in terrorist if this was a real company (call center ) I really don't think their managers would let them say this [***] to potential customers. Everyone on this board has to go on the National Registry to put a complaint about "1002" if enough people do this then they will track these f-in terrorist. I am so pissed off they just keep torturing me.

This message board is not doing their job? All these people have complained about this number "1002" and nothing has been done about it? What's the point of having this message board if nothing is done to help all of these people who are getting harassed by these Indian terrorists([***]) if you don't give them your name or get sucked into their scam they swear at you and say disgusting rude & violating comments,
can't file a complaint on the National Registry because it calls for a phone number & all we are getting on our phones is "1002" so how are you going to help all of us. We are not writing on this board to make friends we want justice & for someone to help us find these scumbags...

I've been getting calls from 1002 every day for the past two months.
I have yet to actually answer any of the calls, but I'm so close to doing so... UGHHH!!!!
