1002

I've started receiving calls from 1002 the beginning of November, and now another caller ID 002 is showing up on my cell.  I've never answered the calls, because I will not answer any number I do not recognized.  I would like for them to stop calling my cell.

I have gotten 2 of these calls today. Both were from the same guy, sounds like he has an Indian accent. He told me he wanted to talk about scholorships for schools. When I asked him how he got my number, he first told me it was from the internet, and the second time he told me a friend of mine gave it to him. I know both are not true. Anyone with any information on how to stop, please let me know. Thanks!!!

I haven't answered yet but they have called me a total of 3 times today.

Keep getting calls form +1002, 4 or 5 times a day.  Don't know who's calling and don't care . . . just want it to stop.  I'm on the do not call list???

Whoever this indian ass is, he better watch out because I'm all over this [***] and know how to take care of it. I know that the publicly traded companies in the US default their after hours help to India due to the low cost of labor. I know that this allows non US citizens to gain access to our information but like 911, our government does not give a rats [***] about what we are subject to and relies on the average American being too uneducated to realize that the government is fully aware of what is going on.

I've been getting calls like this here lately.  I got several yesterday and when I answered no on said a thing.  They called back this morning saying something about scholarships.  I told them they had the wrong number and they guy told me I was a dumb a** and he knows it's me and I just hung up.

I got this call for the first time last night...I did not answer it. I hate this/.....it should be and probably is illegal..

It called this morning. No one answered when I picked up. They just called back a few minutes ago. It was some guy with an Indian accent who only knew my last name. He hung up when I asked which "Mr. [last name]" he was looking for. I have a sneaking suspicion they'll be calling back again and again.

I just started getting these calls from +1002. I called AT&T and they said all I can do is change my number if I want them to stop calling. That's rediculous why should I have to change my number to get them to stop calling?  Has anyone found a solution to getting these Ppl to stop calling?

WTF!!!!! The call comes in while I'm @ work -- they won't leave a message -- so finally I picked up & told them "don't ever call this # again"!! -- This guy w/ a Middle Eastern accent sounded shaken so I asked him to give me his cell # and I'll call him back when he gets off of work -- He said he can't do that -- I asked why?, you don't like ppl calling you on your cell phone that you don't know -- He said yeah -- so I said know you know how I feel -- [***]!!!!!

What and were is this number calling from,have received three calls for now,my solution was to put my number on the do not call list

I started recieving calls from 1002 about 2-3 days ago. They arent calling me as often as other people, but i do get about 4 calls per day. Like others have stated it rings about 2 times and they hang up. I personally have submitted info for the Wal-Mart surveys and recently subscribed to facebook. On Wal-Marts site they talk about Phising and people calling when not requested. IDK if facebook has anything to do with this.

I made the mistake of filling out a survey on Facebook that would give out FarmVille cash. It started with different schools calling me to give me the information I requested, but I never requested any info. These people were friendly and would simply tell me they would take my number out of their system. Now the calls from 1002 have started. I am curious to answer and see if I get someone rude. I'll go all kinds of crazy on them if they do. This is really unfair. I noticed that the surveys are no longer on Facebook. Did anyone else that are getting these calls happen to fill out a survey on Facebook through one of their games?

my co-worker just got a phone call from 1002. she said the guy knew her name and address! he offered scholarships/and school info. - she is actually looking to go back to school, so she talked to him for a few mins. he wanted to asked her like a hundred questions, but she told the guy she was at work that he'll have to call her later. i thought this was suspious so i offed her to googled the 1002 number. found this website and asked her if he sounded indian and she said YES. i said its the same guy. it has to be a scam. she doesnt know how he got her name AND ADDRESS. im so glad i googled. i wouldn't want my friend to be taken advantage of. hope he doesnt continue to call her 50times.

I got a call also from 1002...it showed on my caller id...didn't answer. Then a another call from 1002 2 hours later...ignored it as well...now i am glad i did. How do we stop these calls????

I got a call on my cell at 1:44pm. Some guy with a Indian accent said he was representing some firm and they were dealing with financial aide. He actually gave me my last four social security numbers, then asked me some personal questions. I basically answered his questions with a question, not giving any information. He then said it was for financial aide and trying to find me a school suited for me. I told him I was already in school and I was not interested. He then proceeded to cuss at me, I told him to effe off and that I would report that number. He hung up! If anyone gets a call, get as much information as possible, then try to get a number to call back. Without any number or information, they will not be able to trace this number. Also, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION! IF THEY HAVE YOUR INFORMATION, TELL THEM IT IS INCORRECT AND GIVE THEM SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

got a shock by the funny caller id.... anyway i didnt answer

I just got this call today. He said he was from Education Connection. He had an accent and he knew my email, phone number and he asked how old i was. It sounded like he was reading from a script. I politely told him i wasn't interested.

Today, I have gotten numerous phone calls from that 1002 number. The one time i did answer they hung up in my face. I don't think they get it from facebook, cause i am no longer on there, but when i was my number wasn't listed. But they are extremely worse-sum.
