1006

Got a call from 1006 on Wednesday 8/11 at 3:14 pm EST.  Did not answer the call and no message left.  Gotten one of these calls every day since Tuesday 8/10.  First was 1011 on Tuesday, then 1006 on Wed, then 1003 on Thur, then 1002 and 1005 on Friday.  Never any messages.

I just got a call from 1006.  I've never seen only four numbers come up like that.  Didn't answer but tried call back.  Of course with only four numbers, you can't call back!

Ok, about and hour and a half ago I got the 1006 which I didn't answer.  I just got a call from 004!  Only three numbers.  Decided to answer, someone with not very good English asked for Michael.  Nice try, no Michael here.

Got a call that displayed as +1006 at 6.14am on 26th November. I didn't answer it and can't find anything on Google to say who it was from. I didn't attempt to call back.

Got a call from this 1006 answered and it was a recording saying they were some credit union and my debit card had been denied to dial 1 for a operator for details.....I just hung up...Seems there should be some way Verizon could trace these calls.

Just got a call from 1006, didnt answer and nothing on google.. is it something from verizon? i think i've gotten a call from this # but im not sure..

just got a call from 1006 also  a recording came on saying something about a credit union debit card was stolen, please hit 1 for our security,  I just hung up due to i don't have a card from any credit union.

Same call from 1006 on T-Mobile phone line.
Since sometimes cellular company or bank would broadcast message with short number , I answered and it was the same as the other's comments here.  
A recorded message stating there were some issue with my debit card, I hung up quickly and called the T-Mobile customer service.
The cell phone company could not trace the number's but identified the origin was from a African Nation.

I double make sure there was no funny charge on the cell line and then checked if my bank had any suspicious transaction.  Nothing.  

Just hang up on them !

I just got the call too. Same reaction as Bill. I've gotten some similar in the past. Ignore it.

Got a call from 1006 and said there was an issue with my debit card (which I don't have) and needed my card number and SSN; I showed them I pressed 0 a bunch of times, hopefully I could could connect to an operator so I could rip them a new one, but all its just a voice recording. If you get one of these calls just ignore it.

Got a similar call from 1006 about a debit card issue and the "robot" asked for my 16-digit card number.  I hung up.  No issues with my card - I checked with my bank.

Got a call from 1006. Did not answer. Left a voicemail which said to dial one for the security department.

6/6/12 Also  got a call, but   from 1005 also  a recording came on saying  about  This is credit union and you debit card was lacked, please hit 1 for our security,  I push 1 just to see that skam they want me to offer - and of course automative voice ask to enter my 16 digit debit card number. After that I jus hang up

How does an African Nation have the ability to make these calls? They have phones?....let alone technology ?...mud people trying to smear good americans now thats something IF YOU SEE THIS NUMBER CALL|ING YOU IGNORE  IT!!

Got a call from 1006. Same crap as everyone else.  Why can't the companies stop or block these calls?  Why do we need to be bothered to even answer or delete it or respond in any way at all?

Recieved a text message from +1006 saying to check steves pictures out on Facebook click here! Or one I don't have Facebook! Has anyone else had anything like this?

Yep, just had exactly the same & like you, I don't do Facebook - ignore I reckon

Just got a SMS from this number too 'click to check Ramiar's photos on Facebook:(URL) then Reply "stop" to stop getting Facebook texts'

I'm not on Facebook either.
