I am getting the same, both on my landline and cell.......

Received 4 calls in the past 2 days. Answered the first and last call. The first we answered was a dead line. The last was a middle eastern man who had my name saying that I qualified for grant money. My boyfriend that answered the call was smart enough to answer that the caller had the wrong number and the caller hung up. I called my phone company and they said that it was probably a scam and to just leave it alone, because they couldn't block it due to it not being a ten digit number. I guess I'll just ride this one out.

I answered the call a man with an accent from India calld askn about a grant i was trying to get from my US government. I was working and asked him to call back in 4 hours, no call yet. Im wary now. Got my hackles up and im a bit pissed off.

I received a call from 1111 from India and they tried to tell me they where with the us government and couldn't speak english. Wanted a credit card for $3.89 for a collage grant and this was for my safety. Its bull [***]. Their safe in India calling thousands of americans and charging them money for nothing.

Yep, that's what happen to me. It's a scam. For our safety they want to charge our credit or debit card.

They call me everyday...not only once but three to four times a day. Early in the morning, afternoon, at night and even after midnight. It's really annoying me....

How can we claim this? I also received a call from +1111.
I didn't pick up but if these calls aren't trustworthy we should stop them. How?

I had a call from no +1111 yesterday night at 9:45 PM  ie., on 9th of May 2013, asked me about ramulu wanted him i replied what was the no he wanted & where from he was calling then replied from Afganistan, he spoken in telangana language in a village accent.

Got two calls yesterday (four hours apart) from this same number (the second announcing himself as "John" in a heavily accented voice, and knew my first name.)  As with the first caller, "John" proceeded to tell me that I qualified to receive a "new medical card".  Since this is getting real old, I just hung up on caller No. 1, and later, with the second call from 1111,  told "John" to:  1.  get a real job -- and -- 2.  get a life!  (And then I hung up.)

thats too funny you are saying that you got a call from india but my network says that its from US.
